Will do man. Today is my self-imposed cutoff for team choice, so I'll be looking for matches more aggressively after today lol. I've had 2/3 of my team since day one, but haven't been able to settle on a third. Making my final choice today.

Nice, my current team includes those 2. Ssj Vegeta too. Although I maintain not using ssjb doesn’t make me a lesser Vegeta fan, just an equal part op assist fan.

Who’s your third, or undecided? Fancy checking out my assist combos in the Nappa thread? Any critique appreciated, pretty much a noob at anime/3v3 :)

FYI I’ve dropped Gohan for Piccolo, his assist still works in the combos there.

Ok.. i think I have 16 off the table. He's amazing, I'm just not huge on big body, slower characters. But mebbe not.

I think its Black or A.Gohan.

Opinions?

#16 is my dedicated main, Piccolo backs him up because Hellzone Grenade keeps him out of trouble and makes suicides possible.

The third is whoever, which at one point was Nappa, but is currently Cell or Captain Ginyu depending on who I want to build meter for 16.

Anyone know what instances blue vegeta would be better to use vs saiyan?

What do you mean by suicides? Only picked up Piccolo today... haven’t gotten too deep as working on synergy for now.

Nope (other than command grab and swankier combos imo, could be wrong), I dropped ssjb for ssj, because the assist is nuts. Pretty sure ssj is my “main”.

If another Vegeta drops as dlc I’ll run an all Vegeta squad. Ssj and ssjb actually have reasonable synergy together in my view, just feels wrong having 2 without a third...

Just like alot of ppl, im definitely having a team crisis myself lol. I NEED A THIRD! Kid Buu LOCKED DOWN. Vegeta LOCKED DOWN! But i feel like each time i go online, ive been doing auditions with different characters in that team to see who click the best. Imma try Piccolo next, since he was a good part of the beta.

But now i at least Uncle JBeezY figured out how to do a pick up combo from vanish attacks now. That timing is crazy fast but that wall bounce does allow for another j.c combo.

BTW, does anybody know how to utilize reflect? I can see why hardly anybody uses this button. Its strong, BUT IT DOESNT COME OUT WHEN YOU WANT IT TOO lol

You can do it raw or during pressure IF there is a gap, in this scenario it will only lose to delayed normals (meaning your reflect didn't catch anything) or to throws.
You can also do it while blocking Ki blasts but that's rare as many already avoid doing those thanks to super dash.
You can also do it VS raw supers for example to get a crazy amount of meter while also not taking any damage.

You also get different advantage depending on how early or late you reflect.

I see it all the time when playing non-ranked, everyone in ranked just mashes autocombos and superdash in 19f lag..
wish the matchmaking was better so when I ask for Stronger opponents with 3 bars+ it doesn't give me 0 bar scrubs that are Namekian rank when I'm SSJ2 rank..
