I don't see the issue with the superdash. It's scrubby and annoying but I'm not losing because of it. If people like to do it on block then I usually just wait and take my turn after blocking it. Most of the ass kids that spam it don't even block so I usually open them up immediately.

reminds me of those SF scrubs who mash DP. same shit.

ring matches is the only way afaik. Which is goofy to set up as private coz of the password nonsense.

The online functions are this game's main fault atm, hopefully they figure something out soon.

I'm horrible with abbreviations so thank you kindly for this clarification! And im actually starting to get that down and it really crosses ppl up who just duck and block. They're so stuck in that position, they forget to block the other side when you iAD over them. WOOOOOO shit feels good

OH WOOOOOW! I never thought about ppl who just want to play offline. That sucks man. There has to be some way. If not i guess you can only play when you join an online server

Yeah, I’m trying to get people to come here and post stuff, but it’s not working. I mean to be fair this IS a NRS site, but @STORMS did a good job making the DBFZ forum and character forums.

I been posting on the Discord whenever people ask for a forum, but.... theres not much info here. We need combo threads up for each character asap then we can start having a reason for people to stick around

Here's an issue i find with the game. The matchmaking DEFINITELY needs work!

Once an opponent is found, both parties have 60 WHOLE SECONDS to recognize that a match has been found and to accept. THAT'S TOO FUCKING LONG! I've been getting ALOT of found matches, but no response from the other player, with no way to cancel after i accepted. So i have to wait 60 seconds for the cancellation and look for my next match.

1) They need to shorten the time of no more than 15 seconds MAX. AND if the person is unresponsive, it should immediately cancel them out of matchmaking until they go back into their criteria to enter again. They do the same thing in Tekken except, you have 10 seconds to accept. This will take out all the clutter bunnies who do not pay attention, and keep the flow of fighting online smooth!

It's so strange to me to see this beautifully detailed game, made with so much care and attention to have the most garbage navigation and online component I've came across.

man...it feels like ending in a super with trunks isn't fucking worth it, it scales so goddamn hard. He's a good rushdown point char with assists, but the super finishers are best left to the anchor / middle. Am I wrong?

also, its 2018. Why cant we do private matches?

Been labbing Gotenks. Found a lot of things, one particularly awesome one is the fact that his Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack is active for quite some time, that if a character with a fast enough super DHCs in after, he can actually convert off the ghosts. Only a fraction of the roster can do this however.

This one here that I worked out for Cell is strongly making me consider including him on my team.

I grinded out another one with Tien however, and this one is just absurd.

6 bars, works anywhere on the screen, only uses 2 characters and no other resources. Its scales with how much meter you have, you can just stop pressing supers whenever you want and its all good damage no matter how much you sink in. Also... ITS OVER 9000

Tien's outfit is so fckin lame in this game tho, so I just can't bring myself to put him on the team, even tho he synergises so well with Gotenks in many ways. If you like Tien, do yourself a favor and add Gotenks to your team, this character has so much nutso stuff.

I'm trying the Gotenks Tien combo but I keep missing the link after the j2H. Any advice you can give me?

I'm assuming you mean the J2H with Tien? I have no idea, I wasn't even sure how to combo at that stage (I don't play Tien, and there was a shitload of stun decay by that point) so i just mashed out some generic combo buttons got every try.

OOOOH ok. I think i get it now. The 2H can be used twice in a combo instead of LML. 2nd time wont launch but is used a combo extender. I think i got the jist. Everything is all muscle memory for me so i gotta adjust. BUT is that combo more damaging than how i do it? I guess ill jump in the lab AS SOON AS I GET OFF OF WORK to test it out.
