Speaking of which. So I’ve been doing LL2M5M, j.c, LM, j.c, LM xx 2H, SD, LLL (auto combo HKD). But I’ve seen people do longer combos but done in a similar way. This is with Vegeta, A.Gohan, Goku Black. I mean it’s kinda hard to ask/answer this without a video or exact notations, but they’re doing longer combos than this and idk how. It LOOKS like they’re getting an extra j.c but I’m not sure. Any ideas?
they are likely just throwing in extra lights, or using character specific specials to extend

I suspect it would be LL2M5M, j.LM2H, SD, LML2H j.c,LLL. iirc I’d lose the LL from the very start unless punishing, due to scaling. Unless I’m misunderstanding.

Edit only chars with cancellable 2H can do this.

I need to start using reflect. Im trying to play more defensive but get my ass kicked way more than staying offensive but its essential that i learn how to punish. Needless to say, Uncle JBeezY did not have a good run yesterday....i did make it to Super Saiyan rank, but im no longer paying attention to my loss/win record. I guess that part was stressing me out and i lose to dumb shit lol

*sigh* BUT Im gonna go back to fundamentals and focus on 1 thing each day to get better on. TODAY will be REFLECT! Does anybody know if you can reflect super dashes? Also, while the opponent is mashing and you're blocking the whole time, can you reflect while blocking?

IVE BEEN SEEING THAT TOO! LIKE WTF!? By labbing, after the 2H, super dash, LM 2H, you can't jump cancel into another sequence, so i always end it with vanish attack into a wall bounce to either dragon rush OR a super depending on the character.

But if you check out Maximilian matches, he be doing some extended combo type shit that i cant figure out. Maybe he's using the auto combo button instead of manually inputting the L & M.

Do jl jm j2H H first, then do jLM, jc jLM after. Then do a tatsu into whatever or do the hkd ender.

So instead of doing the jump cancel into the second jLM before you launch them again, your combo looks like this.

LL2MM, JC, JLM2H, H, JLM, JC, JLM, whatever ender. I like tatsu into super there...

Or instead of the j2H to launch them up again, do this.

2MM, JC, JLM, JC, JLM, kamehamankamamamama, vanish, superdash, jlm, tatsu, super.

The 2MM, JC, JLM, JC, JLM sequence seems to be a universal starter

Instead of LM, j.c, LM I’ve started doing LLM2H, j.c, LLL

This is correct, I'd personally lose the first L in the very first jump as well unless your character has a multi-hitting L like Tien or Gotenks for better scaling.

So optimally it'll be 2M5M j M2H (or LML2H if you're light is multi-hit) SD LML2H jc LLL or LLS special.

Obviously characters without a launching air 2H can't do this, they have a bit more unique routes.
Like Yamcha's current optimal is something like 2M5M j IAD LM land 5M j LML jc LML 214M

2MM knocks them into the air. Then jlm2H launches them up higher.

I know the basic launch. There's three levels to it. For example, I start off with...

2MM, jLML, j.c, LML2H, (Which launches), Super dash, LML2H - and after THAT I can't extend anymore j.c. BUT ive seen others do 2 more damn j.c which is INSANE! Thats what im trying to say. Sorry for the confusions lol

You can either do a jump cancel prior to the 2h superdash, or after. Not both. The combo you are looking for doesnt have air combo into a jump cancel before the j2H. Its. 2M5M, Jlm2H, SD (at this point you havent jump cancelled an air combo yet. Thats why you can do it later)

Also yamcha having an iad in his optimal combo just piqued my interest in him

You can't do 2 air jump cancels. You get one off the ground from 5M and then another one in the air after air 2H into superdash.

Remove the bolded part and you'll be able to jc into the LLL ender.

Starting with 5M is really only for punishing or footsies. Idk the exact frame data but I do know 2M is punishable oB.

I have played with losing the first jL, wondered why I was getting weird results... Multi-hitting makes sense, thanks!

Also you can mess with back dashing after mediums get blocked too. Then you can blow up counter pokes that wiff.

Android 16 be like 2M5M, back dash, 2M5M oops lol 7k

You can but it depends on a lot of factors. Like you can cancel into the uOH that is +0 on block, but I’m pretty sure they can 2H in the start up. You can cancel into a special depending on the char, but could push them too far away and it also depends on the special. Obviously can use assists as well.
