@Juggs Yes I agree on that front totally turned me off right away.

If anyone is not busy and would not mind giving hand by checking my stream and tell me if the quality and sound is ok. I am not looking for followers or promoting anything like, just wanna make sure it looks alright in case i want to stream someday.

Looking and sounding good. My preference is slightly lower bass on music as it leaves you with mostly high-end game sound. But that’s all it really is, preference. I could still hear everything I needed to. :)

I don't actually play Tien, I was just messing about with him after I found what Gotenks Super Ghosts can do, because I knew the damage would be off the chain.

We do have more or less the same team tho, but I'm running Piccolo instead. Tien looks strong but i only like Tien with the sash and the nipple, not this craneschool hermit outfit, can't understand why they want with that
At least he’s not wearing the hat.

I actually quite like it when he rocks crane school garb, but yea sash/nipple would be where it’s at.

His tri beam is definitely one of the hypest moves in db tho.

Thanks man! The bass is a little high because I have open back headphones so I compensate a bit for them in the EQ. Actually forgot I was still streaming hope no one caught me fapping....

Slightly off topic, but I wish half these Youtubers would just stop posting combo videos that don't include notations.
Agreed!

Speaking of combos, what would you all say is good damage? I see people just spending meters on EX versions of moves, into vanishing attacks, into level 1 supers, and I can't help but think that's not optimal. Then again, this game has 7 meter bars so maybe it's not such a waste of meter.

I'm personally trying to maintain all my bnbs using meterless or 1 bar options. But I've got Adult Gohan on anchor so I'm always trying to keep tabs on meter management for that install.

Ideally you wanna get 4k meterless, this is easily done if you start with a medium, starting from a light will make the same combo get around 3.2k or so, so in theory if you wanna get max damage try to leave out lights till around the 10th hit or so, their scaling is too fucked up.
With bar you should be getting close to the 5/6k mark depending on the character.

I agree the whole EX into vanish into supers is a waste, that's just for style or if you want to combo into a tag/dragon rush for snapback.

Combos with vanish can be good but they're usually only good if you're comboing off a projectile/beam or say your character doesn't have an air super, in some cases it's good if you're getting an extension way after you used your launch as well such as doing an air combo with Cell into his teleport into vanish for an extension.
EX into vanish is pure trash don't use that.

What do I do if an opponent does this to me and I don't have any meter for one of those "switch in" counters?

Block? that was all mids and lows, if they did an overhead it would leave a gap and you can deflect to push them out. Also it's only 1 meter to counter switch if you don't even have that and they got you in the corner with both their assists available then you kind of have to hold that.

There's no gap if you do it right.

I was mistaken though. I didn't think you built meter from blocking in this game, just never paid attention to it I guess. But yeah look like with no meter I can wait out the pressure and count once I have a bar.

In the lab with Nappa. Looking for ways to get out Saibamen mid-combo. Here's what I think oughta be my BnB so far

There's plenty of combos where I can end and just get Saibamen out safely, but I feel like when I do that all my free frames are spent on getting the Saibamen out when instead I'd rather have mah little green dude already out, and those extra frames after the combo can be me just running in rather than letting my opponent maneuver

Hi everyone , i got an issue with this game .... i can't do mixups pressure , cause there's only one overhead : f2 (Nrs annotation sorry) wich doesn't link to anything , so i don't understand how am i supposed to launch my combo if the only starters available are lows ... kinda predictable. please tell me if i overlooked something cause it feels realy weard

You can use assists to turn it into a full combo on hit

Terrible times breed terrible things, my lord.
Ok so to unlock blue vegeta and goku you have to beat arcade but I also heard you can unlock them by farming zeni ....
The final way to unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta is to simply spend a lot of time playing the game. Dragon Ball FighterZ dishes out Zeni (its in-game currency) as you fight. You can earn Zeni in Story Mode, Arcade Mode, and even Versus Mode. However, it's worth mentioning that tournament fights do not give you Zeni.

Once you reach a certain amount of total Zeni, you'll unlock the Super Saiyan Blue characters. You'll need to earn 300,000 Zeni to unlock Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and you'll need to earn 500,000 Zeni to unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku.

If that seems like a lot of Zeni, that's because it is. It's going to take any player a long time to earn that much Zeni, so patience is required.

It should be noted that you don't have to actually save up the required amounts. You can spend Zeni on capsules as you wish -- the 300,000 and 500,000 thresholds only apply to your total earnings across the whole game.

is that true ?
This is interesting. I'm training against the cpu & started doing arcade last night on the highest difficulty. I'm already coming up come to 100,000 zeni already but I have SSGSS Kakarot & Vegita from my pre order.

Where did you get the info? I hope its true because I'm thinking the zeni we accumulated and spent won't just unlock of you meet those requirements.

If you have spent 500,000 and you currently have 0 on you your saying it will simply unlock. Don't seem right but if it is then Kool.

Personally I'm saving mine in case there's a new map world or character to buy.

1.Learn optimized combos with three characters..

2. learn how to use assists to extend combos and cover yourself for getting in

3. Enter a match

4. Lose to light light light light light superdash light light light lught light superdash light light light light superdash.

I know 2H beats it. But it out prioritizes everything. I dont get it. Are you supposed to just do nothing and wait to press 2H the whole time?

Game would be 8000000000 times better without auto combos and if superdash was like -15.

Many specials beat super dashes as well. All beams, big fireball specials (except Piccolo's coz fuck him i guess), air dragon rush if you're ballsy, many assists like Cell/Goku/Black/Hit/Tien/Frieza etc.
You can also just super as soon as you see the super dash for guaranteed damage, Hit's counter, 16's armor, Gotenks' beyblade etc.

It's still a shitty mechanic and I don't like it at all coz it makes the neutral kinda derpy but there's multiple options to beat it. Waiting and 2Hing is mostly like 10f+ delay matches.
My least favorite thing about is that it completely goes over lows, even the ground super dash just levitates over them which just pisses me off to no end.
It's already a tracking, safe dash with a hitbox that goes into a combo and goes through projectiles but whatever, beats lows too why not.

Almost want a crush counter mechanic on them so that these online casuals see that this is not how you're supposed to play.
I won around 5 sets today just doing Cell kamehameha into Tien assist back to back and all against Android/SS2 rank.
It's crazy that these guys can get this much mileage doing nothing but autocombos into tag autocombo and nonstop superdashes.

I don't see the issue with the superdash. It's scrubby and annoying but I'm not losing because of it. If people like to do it on block then I usually just wait and take my turn after blocking it. Most of the ass kids that spam it don't even block so I usually open them up immediately.
