So how good do we think the level 7 install will be?

I'm reading up a bit more on how Gohan's install super works, and found out that on top of the extra damage, new specials, and full-screen tracking OH teleport, he also no longer has to abide by the combo system at level 7 and can just chain whatever you have into another hit (no repeating moves though). I'm not exactly the most pro-player, but he's looking like he could be Dark Phoenix levels of good with 7 bars. Wondering what others are thinking? I haven't really seen him in action yet, wasn't interested myself until I started learning about the install.

probably really good, but how often will you get to it? Adult Gohan is a meter sponge. Hell even level 1-3 is already pretty damn good. Not sure how it will play out

I tried his level 7 install one time and OH MY SWEET GURKENS his damage is INSANE and I only did auto combos with him. Just imagine a full manual combo, thats already 50% damage.

BUT my question is....how long does the install last? Does it last the whole match or does it go away after a certain time?

That's why I think the Dark Phoenix comparison is apt. You have to try and force your opponent to never have that much meter, otherwise you will be in trouble.

I thought it ticked away at your super meter (so level 1 goes quick, level 7 lasts a long time) but in Max's vid it never went down. That might have been because he had a box ticked for infinite meter though, I don't know

I hope it's really good. I'll have no problem teaming him up with characters like Beerus and 18 to support the meter building for Gohan if levels 5-7 are godlike.

So u can keep doing his install over again to level up to 7 instead of using all 7 bars at once. With sayin that, i cant figure out HOW to use all 7 bars at once. Im using light + medium instead of the single button command for supers, wondering if that could be causing it to not let me hold the install and burn the bars?

Some alternate supers use RT(3+4 or S+H), hold it down to go all the way to 7. It seems like it can be interrupted when you do it with 7 bars though.

These are my personal BnB's with Adult Gohan so far. Similar to a Goku Black video I posted yesterday I'm using no assists, one bar of super meter and the combo's are meter positive(except for the Level 3 version). You can experiment with assist extensions, etc with your own personal teams. As always I hope this helps anyone who's been looking for more combos with notations, etc or maybe helps spark an idea for something new. Have fun folks!

I think his level 7 install will very rarely get used. The very possibility is sinking 7 bars into him and having him die without doing anything else. And if you're like well he's my last character thats fine, well then you don't want to dump every meter you have. I think there's not a really smart way to use it, and although you may win with it, it being the correct thing to be spend meter on is definitely going to be a rarity imo

I think it is worth noting that you don't have to go to 7 at once. You can gradually build up to it 1 by 1. So anchor Gohan can basically come out at level 3-5 before you have to rely on him to win. That scenario he goes from X-Factor Dark Phoenix (if you saved your sparking blast) to X-factor Vergil, I still think that's damn good

No worries, got it corrected above I think (3H?)

New question how do you do the flurry of punches at the start after activating install? Activating replaces this with a kick for me... it’s L L without install....

Final edit sorry, got it, it’s 2L 3L. Corrected in quote above I believe.

Level 1 Unlock = Access to 3L, Masenko extra hits, Jet Uppercut M/H extra hits, Machine Gun Kick can be held for extra hits, Ultimate Back Attack tracks and teleports

Level 2 - 6: 2% additive damage per level, caps at 10%

Level 7: Reverse Beat

Jet Uppercut L is not invincible and never is

3H is head invincible and should be used as your go-to anti-air instead of 2H because it is 1000x safer to whiff and has a better reward on hit.
