Any action figure collectors on here?

I had mentioned earlier in this thread that I collect Funko Pops. I am currently hunting down the latest Mortal Kombat ones.

And once I get all the ones I want, I have some lovely frames to hang over them:

Because Kombat Kon was so fun last year I wanna go again and get the actors I missed :-P There's like, four because their lines were super long and I don't do well in crowds.

Gamestop has some mortal kombat pops when I was there last week. Have you tried out your local gamestop?

I've been to it a couple of times and I haven't seen any Mortal Kombat ones. I've checked several other near by Gamestops, they too don't have any.

Let me tell you bro, comics and anything related to them are serious moneymakers. I can't tell you how much I've made buying and selling. At this point in my life, I really only buy what I want to keep. But I do have a couple 9.8 graded comics in my stash. I'll try to attach a picture, idk how to when I use tym on my phone
The only comics I've cared for is the Godslayer comics since I got into that series at the very beginning. I have a few MK comics but none of it I'm leaning on selling or anything.

I've got like 5 Pop Collectibles on my desk at work lol.
The closest thing to that is a Hot Toys Bank Robber Joker I have from the Dark Knight. And that I'm not planning on ever taking out of the package.

I understand the appeal of wanting to open the figures or statues but I can't do it. Something about it staying in brand new condition pleases me much more

I'm most happy with Spawn figures out of the package. However, usually when I wanted to take one out of pack to display I always bought a second.

However, the one that I did take out (Godslayer comic character "Goddess Llyra") was a good thing I took her out, PLUS I could never find another one at a retail store. I remember getting her at a Suncoast Video at the mall I believe. Regardless, back then they became aware that she did not display correctly, so she would lean over time. You had to contact them about getting this additional piece to help her display.

So any Goddess Llyra figures on ebay, unless they're loose, aren't going to have that piece.

That's cool that they actually remedied the issue though

If a big storage bin the attic count? A lot of my action figures look like they've seen wars, Goku action figures missing feet, Bam Bam Bigelow missing an arm, Goldberg missing a hand & OH THE HORROR even more.

Has anyone had any hauls lately? I remember when I'd have a figure haul on the weekends. Whether it was finding a chase figure (unmasked Dark Knight Batman at TRU), etc was always exciting.

There were also times where I bought something just because it was heavily clearanced.

Primarily a Transformers collector right now, but when I start my new job I wanna get back into collecting SHF Kamen Rider figures along with Super Robot Chogokins.

I have a number of statues. A few are kotobukiya figures then up to mid sized polystone statues. As a hobby I was taking studio style pictures of them.

It was fun for awhile, but it may have run it's course. There are some statues I'm still considering but that spiderman 2099 is pretty freaking big - and not at all cheap.

I'm still stunned by how impressive the artwork on some of these things are.

Posible figures not so much a thing with me, though I think I have about 300$ worth of pop figures (min) including the entire tmnt line.

Which koto do you have?

A side note, I've been letting go of some horror figures / boxed sets, re-displaying my Spawn figures in a corner hutch with glass, etc.

I'm sadden to know that after Spawn series 34 there hasn't really been any real nice Spawn series'... which sucks.

Nice, I have quite a few from the bishoujo line. That's my favorite line next to the big artfx statues
Most of the Koto stuff is amazing. That black panther from a couple of years ago is nuts. I'm a sucker for the anime look in general, so I'm going to want to like them, but they occupy a good sweet spot of not being cheap, but also not being unattainable cost wise. I've missed some I kind of wish I hadn't but then I don't know that I need to spend any more on this stuff than I have.

Not the best representation of what I have, but I put a few images up and linked them here before. Has the Batwoman but that's if for the kotos. She was fun to shoot and I got lots of images I liked out of her. Jubilee also turned out great, but Redhood not so much. Took months to dust spot those two (not shown ) because the static cling on them is for real.
