Lego sets are well worth the invest too especially if you keep the box and instructions. The money you can make off Lego sets are crazy

I wish I had the FFXV CE, if I had known about this earlier. Will get more money to buy all 4 of those fellas.

Got other Play Arts Kai. One of those is Raiden (Metal Gear Rising). I hope to find Gray Fox to fit him in. This fella is my fav cyborg ninja. I can't know from the pictures, unless there's someone who's more experienced with them.

Dude. No joke. All of their products are outstanding. Have been dying to get my hands on this one -

...Even if it's likely the only one I could ever sparingly afford lol. Incredible work, detail, and I'm sure worth every penny - but that's a lot of pennies.
Yeah, their classic MK figures/statues are the only models IMO that really do MK justice. I would rather have that ONE statue than a ton of the other crappy ones from Hasbro, etc.

Really? Any photos that you know of?

It's nuts how collectible Legos are. I never got into them. My addiction was between the early Marvel Legends figures and Spawn. Spawn figures (actual Spawn and others series' like Twisted Xmas, 6 Faces of Madness, etc) are the most detailed figures on the market. They're really like mini statues.

I only have a few Star Wards Unleashed figures. I'm willing to part with all of them though.

In my opinion, the star wars unleashed figures were the best of the best as far as regular star wars action figures are concerned lol The detail was great, especially for that time. Yeah, Lego stuff gets super pricy super quick. Most kotobukiya stuff tends to get really expensive too. Same with that McFarlane stuff. I wanted to grab those McFarlane destiny figures but I was so dissatisfied with the destiny 2 game, it turned me off from them. You got any old marvel legends left? The old deadpool marvel legends sells for crazy money.

It's too laggy to poke...
I'm just curious if anyone else had the addiction that I used to have over ten years ago. I still have a lot of stuff but I'm also selling some of it now though too.
I lived in San Diego for a decade and would take off from work to go to every day of Comic-Con. I would make thousands reselling the stuff I didn't personally want. I don't have that much anymore but I still keep up with the market.

Prices to buy these figures at retail are ungodly. The Marvel Legends used to be about $9. Some McFarlane figures were up to $15 but most were around $10 or $12... then again, the detail you got with McFarlane was well worth it.

I'm currently trying to find the other leg to my Nightmare Spawn figure... (this sells for over $100 in pack), the Spawn Santa hat to my classic covers spawn figure... (I wouldn't get rid of this one) and the cape and accessories to my Spawn Marauder figure.

That's awesome. Is the market still there considering the prices? I haven't paid much attention to it over the years. I haven't seen any new Spawn figures at Walmart for years. I have 3 Gunslinger Spawns. I had one, opened and displayed it. Then I saw two more at a Walmart by me (this was over ten years ago) and I had to buy them. So I have two extra MOC Gunslinger Spawns. They also go for a decent bit.

Those spawn figures are dope as hell! Im not really into the spawn stuff. I'm more into statues now more then anything. I used to just buy stuff just to have it. No I only buy it if I really want it, otherwise my girlfriend will murder me lmao

My favorite Terminator figure... (I don't think I have it anymore...)

The struggle is STILL keeping them in package... of course you want to display them but then over the years pieces go missing because you're not so interested anymore. Then years down the road your interest is rekindled and you're missing pieces. I'd think to myself... "why didn't I keep it in pack?".
Ha! That's probably the best scene from Terminator 3.

My figures are all old-school from the 80s and early 90s.

I have a crapton of figures allover the house. Love the stuff.
When I was a kid and used to play with them, not all the characters were available so I used to turn figures into something else. Like I had an extra Storm Shadow that I turned into Scorpion.

Blitzace10

The Aquatic Ace
I collect most of the DC comics line from Sideshow Collectibles. Premium Formats mostly, but I am really wanting something Half scale, Have not found anything that I can not live without yet.

I'm still trying to piece this one back together. I found the figure and the coffin. I'm just trying to find the accessories and the base now.

Post some pics.

One of my favorite things about collecting was also the toughest... the thrill of the hunt / find. Driving to malls and stores every weekend. Even getting down their delivery days... there was even a shop back in the day that had a guy who would go into Toys R Us and buy all of their rare figures (whether it be Batman Dark Knight, Marvel Legends, etc) then he'd sell them for twice as much at his shop in the mall.

One of my best finds ever... Walmart had gotten a pallet of Marvel Legends in. The girl working (and I knew from school) opened every case for my friends and I until we found the chase figure in that series. Out of 7 cases, they were in the last case. It was a Phasing Ghost Rider (which I would sell years later for about $120) and a Goliath.

I might, I'd have to dig them up. Kinda in the middle of a move right now so it will have to wait.
I wasn't even 10 when I was collecting gijoes and I'd pester my parents to drive me to stores every day. There were a few I just wasn't able to find like Scarlett and the classic Storm Shadow.

Np, don't worry about it. I'll try to post some pics of my figures scattered (trying to organize them, accessories, etc).

On a related note, my wife has a tattoo of a zombie Cobra Commander. :)

Damn, speaking of GIJoes... I had them like 20+ years ago of course. You know what the hell happened to mine? My sister. She would pull them apart... the arms, legs, torsos, etc. I mean, I don't care.. we were kids and it was whatever... but it all comes back to "if only you would know" how rare these things would be years later.

It's further proof that you just need to take care of your collections.

I never considered them a "collection". I just liked them as a kid. It's only been like 2010 when I realised that they are a thing of value. I did have a few of them in a bad shape but I think most of them are fine.
I blame the third world I'm living in for being ignorant like that.
Now years later I'm designing actual characters and these action figures and everything in the 80's and 90's on TV are a massive influence.

Cool, post a pic of the tattoo if she agrees?

The thrill of the hunt is definitely worth the find. I remember I found a kotobukiya dark phoenix bishoujo for 140$ and I was like... what!!!!! I sold that for 300$ in like 2 days lol

Very nice!

I still have my Dark Phoenix Marvel Legends variant MOC and the (skin tone) Marvel Select Phoenix.

I have this Ghost Rider too, but mine's loose:

For the record, I've never followed the comics, only the cartoon and the movies. I mainly got into these figures because I was into them since they started back in ...'03? Plus, the guys I hung out with at that time collected this stuff so naturally it grew on me.

Let me tell you bro, comics and anything related to them are serious moneymakers. I can't tell you how much I've made buying and selling. At this point in my life, I really only buy what I want to keep. But I do have a couple 9.8 graded comics in my stash. I'll try to attach a picture, idk how to when I use tym on my phone
