Thank god lol! I really hope it more like SC2. Besides MK and KI, SC2 was the 3rd video game I really took seriously at a casual point. I will never forget the day 6 of my friends use to play this on the original xbox and always try to be better and beat each other at his place. I thought like from the Playstation version of SC2, Heihachi was pretty cool. Not to knock on NRS, I actually like how Bandai Namco pick characters like Geese and Akuma from other fighters.

They usually go with a theme of what's the hottest game or genre at the time being. They said the game is already 70% done, so they already have a guest/guests lined up. Im not too familiar with other genre of games popping during this year other than Overwatch, Final Fantasy, Persona 5, aaaaaand thats it!

Well if you think low profiling was a problem in Injustice then you should have seen Yoda in SC4, you couldn't even grab the guy.
You know what's funny? You suggested Geralt from the Witcher, that's not a fighting game character, but it is still a WB character just like MK and IJ characters.
Most of the characters in that list aren't fighting game characters.
I thought that since the Witcher 3 was distributed by WB that means WB own the rights to the games and they were the actual publishers. Didn't know about the novels though. My bad.

It'd probably never happen but Senua from Hellblade would be a wild guest character. Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn? William from Nioh?
That would actually be great to have Senua.
I'm a huge fan of Hellblade (it's my personal GOTY) so part of me would love to see Senua but given the care and emotional depth that went into Hellblade, I doubt Ninja Theory would be cool with having her in a goofy fighting game.
