That he is one of if not the best balanced characters in the game. He has a solid tool set, builds meter very well, great mobility and below-average to average damage output to keep him as honest as possible.

There was two approaches NRS could have taken with this patch; Buff everyone in line with top tier's or nerf/normalise the top tier in line with everyone else. They chose the latter and so consequently BB didn't need a buff

And he'll continue to see minimal success in the game. He's the hipster character of this game that people want to upplay.

A top player not taking Beetle places thus far doesn't mean the character is ass. I think a lot of the non-legacy characters will take more time to develop but will prove to be stronger than believed at the moment -- Beetle and Firestorm are the two I think will evolve a lot as the game develops. I could be wrong!

Nothing more dull than hearing your character got no changes. Better than getting nerfed, sure, but it's always underwhelming when you're waiting to hear what changed. Welp, at least some of the pain in the ass characters won't be as much of a pain to deal with.

I'm in love with the Brainiac Buffs. He was only a pocket to beat up on weak players. Now he looks to be tournament viable.

Most of the top tier got the ax they needed.

Black adam looks like he was the least affected. I wonder if Paolo being a Black Adam main has anything to do with that...lol
