Red Hood General Tech Discussion

This is my billionth life cycle.
Have people messed around with the 223 string? Seems like it could be pretty decent to use as a stagger. 22 on block into another 22, 22 cancel into trait, 223 (whole string), 22 into d1, etc. etc.

Found something
If you chuck a far mine and immediately do a MB DF3 (The "before you hit" MB) its plus on block. Could be useful. The gunshots cover you on the way in and they combo into the mine (Which you can then combo from). Seems best as a way to get guaranteed offense after landing a b13.

Couldn't test exactly how plus, but I'd guess only +1. It seems really impractical, but in theory you could use the gunshots to push your enemy into the active frames of the mine for a sort of meaty. You'd nab a few more plus frames, but it would require stupid levels of precision and spacing.

Here's something I have posted before but not many people have already seen it. If they respect your mine after 112 hard knockdown you have tons of options.
It's also nice because if they think you are going for a grab you can change it up and do something like this
(Sorry if everyone has already seen this)

You know me as RisingShieldBro online.
I implore everyone to end all combos with MB restand and throw a low mine into a j2. They can't armor, most anti airs trade, if they backdash most characters still get hit by the mine and you get a hard to block setup that can keep looping as long as you have bar.

Can someone explain how his trait works? I mean it has different sections on the character power with different names but the inputs seem to be the same on many?

Close, normal, or far mine?

Honestly they kinda fucked up on the descriptions. Basically, every page/string is exactly the same except for the ender. So even though the names are different, making it seem that each string is different, in reality they are all the same except for the ender of choice. So just ignore the names and duplicate entries.
D2, U2, Grab, and MB are the only things that matter.

What it should lool like:

3
33
332
332U2
332D2
332 1+3 or Grab
332 MB

Normal mine should work

What string or special can you connect with a b3 after? Like does it link after anything? I know after mb mine but is that the only thing?

There are some setups that allow you to connect with normal mine, but they are pretty tricky and i have yet to flesh them out. Basically if you're able to startup b3 right when a normal mine blows up you can connect pretty consistently.

This is swag but can't you just dash out of the interactable?
It's a guess. They have to be mashing backdash to get out and if they're mashing backdash in those plus frames? Rip them. You can make it guaranteed dependent on where the opponent is tho.

Not really, you just mash backdash and if they see you jump then block the jump in like normal. Can prob just react to if they see you go for the interactable or not (ie mash if you see the interactable activated or just block like normal until then). Would be interesting if you could get it in a position where it is guaranteed off the start.

You don't need to jump to blow up the backdash tho.

Cool I'm thinking of learning Red Hood I've been watching a lot of Sonic Fox using him
