Pushblocking is way less consistent this time around. Granted I don't use it as much since I like to stay in close, but it just doesn't seem as reliable.

Inputs suck which everyone knows by now. I'm optimistic that they'll fix this eventually.

Interactables are terribly balanced. If you're an acrobatic character you are pretty much fucked. OTGs, umblockables, it's all there. Don't get me wrong I think interactables are fun and can add a lot of depth, but they ruined it with terrible balancing to be brutally honest. Acrobatic vs. power distinction should have never been a thing.

Training mode also isn't that great. I really wish you could set the AI to do reversals other than those listed (like trying to poke out of your pressure for example). I know that's probably just wishful thinking though.

I'm still really enjoying the game though.

Interactable OTGs are back? I thought they were gone.

Can't tell you how many matches I've lost with Batman do to the fact that I'll crouch holding DB and push d1 and then a fucking up grapple comes out.
And with multiple characters like Canaray or Atrocitus can full screen combo my ass into oki.

I love this game but...

1. Player matches are gear only

2. Pusblock is F+BLK

3. Input system blows ass. I'm sick of blocking Batman's wakeup slide and going to punish with B1 and getting that piece of shit scoop, it's infuriating.

4. No way to open all motherboxes simultaneously

5. Gear drops are ass, I don't want any more Atrocitus shaders, I feel like I should have more stuff for Aquaman at this point... you know the character Iv ACTUALLY BEEN PLAYING

6. All of Aquaman's head gear looks retarded

7. Oh yeah Green Arrow has no hood

Major issues:

1. There being no default competitive mode player match


This is the biggest issue above all else. And probably the easiest to fix.

I know a lot of people think that competitive mode should be the default mode in all online game modes in I2, and that stats/abilities should have to be opted in by both players. However, I can see why NRS didn't do this. People with competitive play in mind are the minority. Most people who bought I2 will spend lots of time grinding for the most powerful gear for their favourite character, and would not be happy with this being rendered useless by something that's at the mercy of their opponent.

But there's an easy compromise. Please give us a separate competitive player match mode where we can go in and find like minded players. One and done ranked matches are not an acceptable substitute. Saying "just add people who also want to play without gear" is not an acceptable solution; you can't always rely on people on your friends list being available to play at the same time as you, that's the whole point of player match rooms.​

2. The input system

Everyone is having issues here. Even with negative edge and input shortcuts turned off, it seems that the buffer window is far too big.
One example is pressing b,d,b can result in a backdash. Surely that should never happen?​

NRS, please. Take note of these two concerns.

guild towers should have less 12-fight grinds and more bosses 2bh, the boss fights are actually fun but the rest of that shit ain't worth anything

cinematics shitting all over traits that have set-up/resetting cooldown is pretty dumb imo

2. Gear/brother eye organisation

Getting past the annoyance of having to go through and mass sell gear items every now and again due to the awkward inventory management system, there's something even more annoying and unintuitive about the system.

It doesn't make any sense having the regen option in the brother eye section or not being able to preview items before selling/regenerating gear.

Currently, you have to go to customise character, find the gear you want to regenerate, note down their names, exit character customisation, go to brother eye, change tabs, find the character, try and remember whether you liked the look of Scarecrow's fortified scary pants of terror or his frightening pants of horror, realise you can't remember and go back and start the process again before realising you don't actually give a shit anymore.​
This, omg. Gear system, cool idea, but wtf were they thinking with this process. It wouldn't be so bad if the gear pieces didn't have such nonsensical names but how is anyone supposed to remember the difference between Felicity's Nano-fibre hat, Felicity's Nano-fibre tech hat, and Felicity's Nano-fibre tech kuhluliuljn hat.

Oh, and the inputs are terrible. Glad that's not just me.
 
I just want to be able to d1 punish instead of getting upguns and then getting mopped because of that... too much to ask?

also trading gear should be a thing... my brother who actually plays WoWo did the movie gear multiverse and had a full inventory when he was gonna get the last couple epics and now he can't get it. Im never touching this character so can i just give him my shit?

I enjoy opening Mother Boxes for the items. However, I don't enjoy watching the same slow animation a million times.

My biggest issue is pushblock input. Attempt to pushblock. Gets hit and forced to clash. Rip :(
I have no Idea why Stance Change isn't used for some of the Meter Burn abilities. What even is stance change for???

I also strongly for some kind of meter gain change for whiffed projectiles, not sure if eliminating it is going to far tho.

Stance switch is now for delayed wake up.

True. I meant more so the Stance Change itself... I believe some times they swing left or right handed and being in right stance can extend hit box a lil but is that really all?
They could easily make Clash the SC button so there isn't an issue, though i don't really have a prob offline with it. Just seems sensible.
 
Worst thing for me so far is the gear system UI and general management, it's absolutely awful. I get so much gear I don't even want to sell at this point because it's so tedious. All I've been grinding for is a Fate shader that for some reason isn't for sale like the rest of them, so it's complete RNG luck that I will ever get it. Why is there also a limit on the overflow slots? I recall there being a lot more in the beta, 20 is far too low.

The inputs are horrible like everyone else has gone over, it was my biggest worry from the beta and while it is better, the buffer window is still too big.

Pushblocking itself is a risk now, so many times i'll just stop blocking and get hit, I have no idea what i'm doing wrong, but it's frustrating.

Can they attempt to balance the ability moves for competitive play? It would be A SHAME to let them go to waste. Honestly. This is my biggest thing by far.
That would be great, however I think the biggest issue with them being allowed for competitive play is that at the start of every set each player would have to take time to choose the specific abilities. Which unfortunately would take up far too much time in tournament setting. :/

I personally wouldn't care, but maybe you're right. I want to see the abilities really badly lol.
