If I would hazard a guess (and I would) the meter burn, side switching laser has to be blocked in the opposite direction (i.e., you have to block by holding forward, toward Darkseid). However... I'm betting that you can block it clean (or evade it) by neutral ducking.

I wonder if that forward advancing move at 0:34 is a mid. It pops up for a combo and could be a fantastic punisher for meterless damage.

I bet Darkseid will be dominant anywhere past exact mid screen. Like he will eat ass point blank and do good full screen, but idk something makes me think he will have trouble with right outside of starting distance.

Too early to tell, but I agree. My first thought when seeing him (and no, it wasn't "ooh ahh, lasers") was "Those normals look kind of stubby". he does have a kick animation that looks like it has decent range, but I'm betting that's part of a string only, so, he's "Zap. Zap" all the time, 24/7.

I guess people don't remember Scorpion's release in Injustice. Side-switching attacks don't belong in back-to-block games. Especially for us online warriors, the tiniest delay makes it just not at all fun to play against.

I also hope it's not a reverse-block move for Darkseid's sake. I'd rather him have an awesome standard projectile than have a scrub-killer that gets him overly nerfed (just like Scorpion).
