As far as gear moves go they can get very creative with Darkseid. The Omega Beams are varied and can also teleport people. Maybe a gear move where it teleports you above Darkseid like Smoke's smoke cloud in mk9. Or controlling the direction of the beams mid flight to a overhead or cross up
