I know its confirmed for more tournament support but as for more content we've got no word outside of the last dlc character. So if we get a season 4 or more characters, that might be information that comes out after they get released. Is the money gained from her funding more tournaments and/or content?
I didn't lab anything with her but played roughly 60 games with her vs @DownfouralitYDidn't get anything but a few min in training mode with Shin, but she's interesting for sure. She has trickery but her kit is pretty direct in terms of neutral

I've never been good at "tech" discovery or the development of optimal stuff but I feel that she will have the most potential off of her hard knock down ender coupled with meaty fireballs/cross ups
I personally don't play TJ and have always had trouble breaking him since I still haven't learned to recognize the different strengths of his buttons. @The Slaj Jazz might be able to provide some TJ insight.Yeah, I'm not a tech guy either, I was just getting a feeling for her rhythm and timing (I feel like KI has a rhythm component to combos and everyone is a little different) and normals and special and so on.
I really want to get back in to KI and try to learn the game but I just CANNOT settle on a main in this game. My attention span is microseconds long in KI for some reason.
I had originally thought Kim and Mira but I think I'll drop Mira. Kim I like a lot, she's straight forward and seems pretty strong but her dragons mean she has some shenanigans and space for wild shit when I get strong enough at her base gameplay to start messing with all that.. but I just don't think Im a one character guy in KI.. I've ALWAYS liked TJ and he seems pretty strong to me, but he's kind of odd..
Real quick while I'm thinking about it, I don't understand his auto double cancel system..I mean, I get that I can hit, say, light then on the first hit hit medium and it'll do the medium auto after one hit of the light, but I can't seem to continue my combo after that.. Am I doing something wrong here? Because the description makes it sound like I can keep combining if I don't cancel in to all of them for the 'around the world' ender. Dunno. I need a TJ sensie or something.
Anyway, back on track. So ShinSako seems like a good potential main as well, she has really silly stuff with her spirit orb dash and special move tracking and crazy fireball sillyness, but her neutral seems pretty damn solid by itself, useful and straightforward specials and the ability to cancel the rekkas into other specials is just sexy. Shrug, so I'm kinda looking at Kim and ShinSako with maybe a background TJ or something.
I think my GT is NtropicByDesign if anyone wants games with a total newb.

I got the following info from http://ki.infil.net/tjcombo.html
"Auto-Barrage:
Auto-Barrage is TJ's unique combo trait and its strength warrants some further discussion. Any time TJ does an auto-double, he can choose to initiate Auto-Barrage by pressing a different button during the first hit of the double; the second hit of the double will change to the new strength. TJ can continue to cancel each subsequent hit, as long as he picks new button each time, although the speed of the attacks will decrease the longer the barrage continues. If you are looking for visual indicators for the different strengths, light attacks are jabs to the face, medium attacks are punches to the kidney, and heavy attacks are uppercuts to the chin."
The website I provided is one of the best guides for KI available

I prefer not to use medium slash because I have a feeling once people get used to fighting her medium slash will be easy to react to.A fun one that's simpler than that is just do exchange ender, back dash orb then light or medium slash for a left right mix up made safe by the projectile. There was one that I found that beats dps
It was like, exchange ender, jump over orb, then maybe jump heavy kick. I have to check again. It was over on the ultra combo forums.
To me the breaking system keeps the experience fresh since every different opponent I face has different tendencies and adaptation with their breaks/counter breaking.Just remembered why I stopped playing this game sigh. The breaking mechanic is really dumb.
My biggest problem is that defense is just too strong. I made that read that Jago was gonna uppercut after windkick. But I get first frame broken. It's unrewarding. Unless you're Mira and get a counterbreak. Then it's totally rewarding heuhTo me the breaking system keeps the experience fresh since every different opponent I face has different tendencies and adaptation with their breaks/counter breaking.
I like the fact that just opening your opponent up isn't enough in this game to get your damage in.
I guess I can understand that but that's when u counter break to keep them from first framing. If your opponent picked up on your tendency of strength usage then just switch it up. If they are guess breaking then they are willing to risk getting counter broken, so it's up to you to deter them.My biggest problem is that defense is just too strong. Issue is, from my experience, a lot of people online don't have a pattern. They first frame guess break every single one of my combos, so next time I counterbreak and then they don't do it. I hate it lol. Maybe I should just play less ranked.I guess I can understand that but that's when u counter break to keep them from first framing. If you're having problems with guess breakers just purposely misstime a manual, if they guess break you'll just counter hit them.Issue is, from my experience, a lot of people online don't have a pattern. Another thing you can do is instead of doing an auto double do a special. So like with cinder I'll do opener into trailblazer into fission instead of auto double and if they go to break like it's a auto double they will get the mistimeIf you're having problems with guess breakers just purposely misstime a manual, if they guess break you'll just counter hit them.
