Being better than someone has nothing to do with being correct. There are people on both sides of every possible issue that are better than me. i mean believe whatever you want but the ranking system gives you a pretty accurate idea of where a player is in this game. Being gold/playing people around this area is not experiencing the game on a relevant competitive level.
The ranking system gives you no idea of where people actually stand. You could get diamond and never once play vs or beat a top player, I'd care more about you beating xian in one ft5 than I would if you got master rank. At the end of the day online is just the next step up from the lab. Take your ass to the real world and get results. Then I'll give a shit, but probably not.
there are peole who don't participate in ranked like xian or infiltration but for the most part the ranked giving no idea what kind of player you are is bs. sure any bum could hit diamond with a refined gimmick and enough time but once you start getting closer to master it takes a certain kindve consistency and win ratio.
I mean my ranked matches are like 2k idk why you're framing this 10k number like I actually play ranked 24/7 or something

Yeah it's cool to be up there and it takes skill, but beating danslip 40 times in a row online to get master is less impressive than making ONE top 8 at a premier. You're clearly a good player, but when you say things like your guile is better than du's just because you're above him on the leaderboards it just... I mean come on.
