Spammer. Crouch walk hater.
There should be a wave of codes given for a version with only the training mode so testers and beta luckers won't instawin the first majors.

What is going on guys, Ya Boi Zyphox here.
Dude you were complaining about not having a code until you got one. If you didn't get one you'd still be complaining.
and you know why i got one? because someone dm'd me one. regardless i never once said anything about how it was unfair that certain people got codes and i didn't because i knew what was up.

"Scarab says you suck!"
I really do not understand why people are bitching and moaning about not getting access to the BETA BUILD of a game. I wanna play as bad as anyone else does, believe me. But do some people honestly think that crying on a public forum is gonna make anything happen any faster??

Unfair no... You talked yourself up on why you were part of the elite that should be entitled to a code. You complained up until the moment someone gave you theirs. Maybe I took what you said the wrong way on how every complainer is being a whiney bitch cuz if we are than so are you.

I don't get why people are so pissed about this. NRS and WB do not need justify who they decide to give codes to if they're giving them out to some people with priority. They want the best possible feedback for their game and if they choose to send the likes of Sonicfox and Scar a code, that's their right to do so. At the end of the day those players will be the ones who provide useful feedback, because they have shown to learn quickly and find stuff quickly as well. I believe the codes that were sent out via the normal e-mail registration path were completely random and NRS probably handed out some codes to people they wanted to participate in the beta, because of whatever reason. You are not entitled to an explanation or even disclosure. It sucks that a lot of people still haven't gotten a code, but this butthurt crying about codes needs to stop, as well as a lot of people acting like it's anything more than disappointment for not receiving a code. NRS didn't betray or lie to anyone if the codes being sent out via e-mail are random and they cherry pick some players on the side to give one to. It happens all the time and yes some people do have extra privileges. Deal with it.

Giving those who pre order a beta key is stupid. The FAQ for the beta says it's to test and optimize the online play. This requires volumes of players, which would usually be gradually invited to the beta to prevent an explosion of servers or w/e (i'm no expert but i feel this is common beta sense).

The top players/streamers etc should always have priority to get keys first so they have the most time with the game in general to find as many bugs/glitches/infinites/bullshit as possible. I'm not talkin balance here just strictly broken shit. They will also spread more hype with their popularity. THEN the last few waves invite massive amounts of players, which would include the casual 12 y/os, to stress test.

Casuals don't help with anything other than stress testing for the most part. They just want to test the game for themselves to see if they like it instead of providing information about bugs/glitches/online play. Most of them wouldn't even realize Ermac isn't supposed to gain a full bar of meter for landing 1 special move or even realize it's happening. If they do notice they won't report it or know why or how they even did it/bother trying to replicate it.

The priority invites are such a small percentage of the # of beta players yet they will find and directly help effect the outcome of the final product the most. Maybe 90(being very generous) or so top players/ streamers testing the game will get more done than the other 5010 casuals assuming there is ~6k ppl who have the beta currently.

TLDR: I'm saying injustice 2 needs in depth pro player/top player feedback just as much as online play needs massive #'s of players to stress test and to test the gear aspect. The game itself is more important to most of TYM users, whereas online play and gear testing is more important to the overall success of the game in terms of making it last outside of competitive play.
But i don't know what the fuck i'm talking about since i am neither a casual nor a top tier player. :)

To the people salty about the codes, yeah it sucks but the purpose isn't to let everyone and their mother play it. Let's just be glad that they are testing the net play to make the experience better at launch. The game isn't that far away guys so just be patient.

Not Good Enough
I've been one of the largest criers about NOT receiving the beta code, however, I think people have misinterpreted that as both entitlement AND obliviousness to WHY NRS is giving higher ups like streamers and people who have connections with NRS. Most of the people who joke about not having a beta code are turning it into a meme that they can laugh at and relate to while being left out of the beta they so desperately wish to participate it. People REALLY get it twisted and that's not what's about at all. I understand why a company would give codes to higher ups than players like myself. That's perfectly fine NRS. The giveaways have been fantastic too by various employees and YT entities.

Remember #TeamNoCode is a meme, not a goddamn entitlement plea. Don't get it twisted, mates.

Holy entitlement batman. Does anyone know how many people signed up for the beta? Is there any way to know how many times each of these people signed up with different emails?
As soon as i saw you could sign up for the beta with as many emails as you wanted, I had a feeling it would cause a ripple of shit posts throughout the interwebs.

I feel like they could have sent out 30k beta keys so far and it wouldn't even equal 10% of the people who signed up. Partially due to ppl signing up multiple times, but mostly because there is likely a high volume of people who signed up for the beta in total.

My point is it's a closed beta, not everyone will get a key (open beta would be sweet though). The only reaction people should be having to not receiving a key should be "damn that's unlucky" not "this is bullshit".
That being said, the system is rigged, I signed up within 30 seconds of the registration going live, i should have MY key by now, I deserve it. NRS and WB are liars, this is bullshit, when's the next beta key wave, and we are all on drugs.
i signed up 3 hours after i notice it was posted so thats probably why it took me until the 3rd wave to get it. all of my crying and tears was worth it the game is amazing!

Fujin!
I just want to point out that the Injustice sub-reddit was finally given some codes directly from NRS for a giveaway. 4 PS4 and 4 XB1. Not a lot, but I still appreciate it. Or at least, I would have.

It turns out that the XB1 codes they were given were already used in a previous giveaway. Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/INJUSTICE/comments/5rx37h/the_goddamn_xbox_codes_from_the_giveaway_were/

The current issues with the beta are:
  1. Lack of communication for certain things. They never tell us when the codes have stopped being sent thedr past 2 waves, so this has caused people to stay up for hours after it ended checking their emails non-stop because they thought they were still being sent (for an example: codes are done being sent at 6PM but they won't give us confirmation, so people stay up at 9PM still thinking they are sending codes).
  2. No release schedule for code waves like other betas have. They announce and send out waves on the same day. This creates a lot of downtime between waves were people are constantly speculating on the date of waves, and ultimately getting disappointed.
  3. No code supply for major communities. The For Honor sub-reddit was given a 500-use code, allowing a lot of people from the community a guaranteed spot in the beta. Like posted above, the Injustice sub-reddit was given 8 codes, and half of them was invalid. Whether you are fine with this beta or not, you have to admit that is a joke in comparison. This is their beta and they could do anything they want with it, but it would be nice seeing more support for these bigger communities.
  4. Goals for the beta aren't clear in some cases. I've seen them say that the point of the beta is to stress-test servers, but some people are claiming that they are also using it for balance reasons. Or maybe both. I just want to know things that they find in this beta. I want to know how the information being gathered is valuable to them. I know that in the end it will "make things better in the final product", but how exactly? It would be nice getting updates on things they have found and will be fixing in the beta.
Even if you are fine with how the beta is being handled, it shouldn't be hard for you to see why people are frustrated. At the end of the day we are all mega-fans who are just trying to get our hands on the beta. But the things I posted above, I feel, are some of the major reasons why people are TRULY getting upset -- not just frustrated that they didn't get a code.

All I want to do is offer "constructive criticism" if you will, because I just want Injustice 2 to be the biggest, and best game it can be. But I also want to see a better "relationship" between the developers and community. All I want is some more communication on certain fronts, like how colt/Paulo replied to the thread earlier.

we are talking about to different things, did i whine because i didn't have a code. yes i did. now did i say it was unfair that certain people had codes over me because they were streamers or top players? no i didn't, the latter my good sir is MY point. i'm literally saying to people stop bitching about other people having codes, not about bitching that you don't have a code, good sir.

Well, there's a reason to be pissed. If you're going to attend Combo Breaker and should play against people who played extra month.
Played an extra month, 3 months before the actual release, with characters who have probably changed a ton in the meantime. Yeah absolutely terrible. Of course they've played the entire roster as well.

I just want to know if the odds of getting a beta code at this point are actually likely or 100,000 to 1...
What number would make you feel happy? The odds are bad, kiddo. Every kid with a boner for superheroes on the planet put his card in that pot. Some of them 50+ times.
