Not good. Game needs alot of work....

oh dear,I'm sorry, should definitely clarify. Game is currently AMAZING in almost every way- but there's _really_ bizarre balancing things that make it super unpleasant to play. Like, having jump attacks with 1000X more hitstun than the actually AA attacks (I'm almost certain I got punished for a d2 on hit at one point)

-all things which is very likely the point of the beta in the first place. But yeah. Feels a bit "rough" so to speak.Definitely go into it with the mentality of a tester and not someone getting a special treat.

Edited comment. Some super bizzare damage and hit stun stuff. All likely consequences of beta state (remember Scorpion's b2 infinite? Kinda like that)

Game looks, plays, and sounds super fluid, but definitely has the feel of all the numbers being still worked out- to this extent, a bit unpleasant.

And now, I'm going to go play the beta for the 8 hours in which of normally sleep before work

How d2 launch the opponent in the air how did u get punished for doing it

I believe I did a d2 as Superman against Batman's j3 (which does a sort of "Splat knockdown")

Didn't actually get punished for it- but pretty certain he was able to dash up to me and still be at very + frames after a d2 vs j3 trade

But yeah. Seems to be a consequence of low gravity? I'm currently testing out this hypothesis by playing Batman as a drunken parody of j2-injustice1 batman:

Hopefully we'll get 2 more waves this week. Maybe even an added character. All I have left is hope. The game does look amazing though.

My personal prediction is on tuesday they'll add Aquaman and Grodd and send out another wave. Atleast that's what I'm hoping

I got a code from attending Frosty Faustings, this past weekend. Played it for about 45 minutes yesterday.

Batman feels a little different, initially, but also more or less the same. I'll have to look at the latest combos for him to get a better feel for him.

But so far, the game is a lot of fun! And the online experience feels pretty good to me. (Playing it on PS4)

Would love an open beta, but I dont think they would make it open until the last week for a serious stress test. Hopefully I can get a code before that happens.

Has anyone heard if a 3rd wave of beta codes will be issued? I have never checked my email and Twitter 34816 times a day before until now :-/

Well, at this point, I've pretty much given up hope of receiving a code. Between the people who have registered for codes on 20-something emails, the hollywood players who cry and receive a code, and so on and so forth, it's so anti-climactic since the game is less than 4 months away and everyone with a code is so far ahead, I think that if/when I receive a code, I'm gonna just sell it and donate the money to charity.

I got mine on friday. I posted an article that included another Beta code on my personal website today. You can PM me if you are interested in seeing if it hasn't been used yet. Code is for PS4.
