Yea the results aren't "PIG"like but it whatever. The game became super whatever to me. I'm content w it. Basically just MWC 5th place, and esl s1 and s2 finalist.

In the interest of historical record I'll point out the answer to the question "did p2w beat anyone at the level of Hayatei?" is a resounding yes. P2W defeated Rico and King in their primes at TFC/FR. Placing top 8 at Final Round 2014 is a career defining accomplishment. That is unquestionably among the top 5 most stacked tournaments of the life of the game.

In my eyes, Batgirl beating Zod at the Evo Grand finals left a bad taste in everyone's mouth and it was probably a major factor in why the game was not included at Evo the following year. I imagine the Illuminate at NRS will deny it simply to save face but they should of nuked her just like they did to Superman after his Evo win.

biased toward results and character mastery really. who would you suggest other than foxy? I can't think of one other international player that made an impression on the scene...

I agree even though we had a EU scene without any tournaments.
The only 2 big tournaments that i knew was the EU international IGAU in 2013 and the first and only UK tournament that foxy won,even though there was no big prize pool to travel even for the UK guys.
If you ask me .. back in Injustice time the Top8(+1) EU was (random order):

• @PND_Ketchup (if i am correct multi-character)
• @A F0xy Grampa (strong WW - we never faced each other for the best ww,such a shame)
• @UsedForGlue (strong Batman - b2 string into bats master!)
• @Metzos (BEST DOOMSDAY HANDS DOWN HAHA - d1~earthshake still haunts my dreams)

I wish we had half of the US scene in the EU back then..i hope it is gonna be waaaay different now in Inj2!! I will try to support as much as i can and i know we have a more compact scene now. I'm anxious and excited about it!!

This top 16 seems just a little bit biased towards USA, just a little bit

Nobody traveled to NA to prove they were any good at Injustice.

There is no getting around the fact it was by far a North American Dominated game. That part of the world just went in the hardest and therefore had the strongest players.

Even foxy stopped playing after about a year in EU.

That grand finals was actually prettty decent. The game didn't come back the year after cause it didn't get enough numbers. BUT. Tournaments after that where still strong. Getting a good amount of players. Even without pot bonus's. You still had people like honeybee and bio traveling for the game just cause of how much they loved it and to get better. You had the rise of decay, relaxed state and a few others doing better in tournaments. YOu still had locals at the time. People from different states still traveling. And now we have mkx where people doon't even bother traveling to 2K pot events.
