Did some testing yesterday and I now - more than before - doubt the latest numbers. Maybe the canceldata differs on block and on hit. However I can't jail anything after f12. Not even d3, d4 (the motion is awkward too, even on my hitbox. I definitly lose frames trying to enter the duck-motion) and especially not another f12. Actually I can't jail any move after any plasma-cancel but 4-pcc.

I'd love to see a video of anyone using f12-string as a jailing follow-up.

Then again I was not aware of f12-pcc being plus (i think it is like +2-3). This string is great for tick throws.

12 is the one that jails. Not f12. 12 and b2 are both +8 and jail d3. they jail f1 if the opponent crouch blocks the 12

I am gonna double-check 12-pcc. Yet I think that everything around a 2-frames-window is enough for jailing. Thus I think that being +5-6 should be enough for d3 to jail. Not 100% sure though.

would you consider this hard to do? im not a predator player but am currently practicing him, and thinking of using Warrior/HQT and hunter in some matchups once i master him, assuming i can.

I've jailed into f1 more consistently. Its not that hard to do in my opinion

12 pcc is +8 always but +9 if the first hit his blocked low like it usually is. That means it's a two frame link with an awkward input so yeas it definitely is hard. It jails into f1 if done perfectly(one frame link) but only if blocked low

this might be a naive question, but if you see any red from the plasma caster before cancelling, does this essentially mean that you are doing it too slow? I see people like Destroyer do it so fast that you can't see any red, but I can't seem to get this in practice mode for some reason.

what happened to Predator Warrior

i seen the patch notes for 3/1/2016 and 3/29/2016

and it shows predator having
  • Predator (Warrior) - Dread Slam now has 13 startup frames and is -4 on block (down from 29 startup and up from -9 on block)
  • Predator (Warrior) - Dread Launch now has 13 startup frames and is -14 on block
but nothing for his Yautja Strike
but on my game it shows he has 33 frames of startup that its completely slow and reactible.

what am i missing? is my game glitching?

im not seeing where it was changed, and sonics fox it up video shows him doing it very quick and says its unreactible, and 33 frames is way beyond unreactible.

Even if you do it without seeing red stii doesnt mean that you do it perfect. If you see red then you are way to off your timing! The the most important part to understand is that diferent strings doesnt have the same timing.

To jail yes! Online specialy yes! In practice mode not so hard.

Online preferably id say the average connection online is 100ms to 200ms? i am having extreme problems. i have currently a hardwired connection of 20Down 5UP and 15Ping. (accoring to WB/NRS this is more than sufficient for playing online with no interruptions. My Gaming monitor is a Asus VS278Q with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, Full HD 1920 x 1080p Native Resolution, Horizontal Refresh Rate 30-83kHZ, Vertical Refresh Rate 50-76HZ, 10ms Input Lag, 1ms GTG.

and i am running MKXL on Xbox One, the avaerage Ping wired shows 80ms even though my Alienware/Phones show below 15ms. i asked Microsoft and they said that could be there servers or the Xbox may be not giving a correct ping result.

i figured i should give you all the info that was relevant to my internet and any source that could cause lag.

here is my fightstick i use:

now with all ive given you, should i be able to pull off his cancels and jail consistently and easily?

No the only strings you can jail off of are s4, 12, and I think poshib was saying b2. S4 can jail 12 and f12. 12 and b2 can only jail into d3 and I guess f1 but it's like a 1 frame link. All the other cancels are like +2-+5ish depending on the string. I think 32 is next at around +6 but they just go down from there.

is it even viable or practical to use standing 4 to jail? since it has so much pushback, i dont even know how they would reach with 12 and wouldnt the first hit of F12 wiff?

Yeah I usually use it in the corner after a low laser hits. I feel like that's the most practical scenario.
Also s4 does have pushback but if you're close to them it won't push you out of range of s1 or f1.
