I want Kronika to step on my face
This is a new combo thread updated with the latest October patch combos, and hopefully it will stay updated until all time ends. GG.

General notes:
- Cryomaster and Grandmancer combos are under construction at the moment (Typo intended)
- B33 ~ Ice ball combos only work on females midscreen
- Almost all combos can be ended with F12 instead of B12 or 123 ~ slide, to set up a clone or aura, and it will do 1 or 2% less damage
- All ice ball combo openers can be changed into EX Iceball for ~3% more damage
- Optimal combos are highlighted
- RC = run cancel, JB = jump back, JI = jump in, (whiff)

Couple of things about the UB combos:

For the midscreen ones where you have the opponent frozen, it's perfetly viable to do JIP, B2 run B12xxBurst. For some reason B2 lets you connect that if it comes after a JIP and it's more damage than 242 into B12xxBurst.

Also, after many strings into EX Aura, you can add an instant JI1 for extra damage (only midscreen though). It isn't hard to do, it works from B12, B33 and F4 (for this one you need to wait a little bit before jumping), probably from more.

Interesting, I'll lab it tomorrow and update the combos.

Yeah but the thing is these combos are meant to come off your pressure strings. For example 11 EX Aura is +8 on block, and follow up with B12 is good there, and if it catches your opponent you can hit confirm it into the combo I listed. You can't do an instant JIP there because it's too fast. If you know the combo is gonna hit anyway you shouldn't use that combo because it does about as much damage as meterless combos.

Here are the optimal numbers for the 2 changes that I mentioned:

B12 ~ Aura, B12 ~ ice ball, JI2 B2, run B12 ~ burst -- 33%

(B12 | B33 | F4) ~ EX Aura, JI1, B12 ~ ice ball, JI2 B2, run B12 ~ burst -- 34% | 31% | 31%

The F4 one might be the trickiest one but the others are pretty easy.

Yeah fair enough.

But you should try the B2 run B12 ones, they come off surprisingly easily once you practice them a bit, but for some reason ONLY after JI2 (I think there is some internal issue where your position counts as starting closer to him or something and that's why you can reach him).

Note that this is only for the damaging combo and aura removal to have your F4xxaura pressure available, if you want to sacrifice damage and/or keep the aura to finish with the slide for the HKD, B12xxslide will whiff the slide after a B2 (and 123xxslide will connect the string but also whiff the slide in the same situation) so for that ender 242 is still the way to go.

What you getting off F1 for a bar midscreen?
Which variation? F1 into iceball/aura/any starter would get the same than other strings but considering that F1 is 3 damage instead of what the other string does (for example 7 less than any B12 combo).

For Cryo it's a different story as you can go F122 from F1.

Midscreen you can do:

Easy combo:

F122, NJP (optional run under to switch sides), F122, B12xxPPxxHammer = 32% (31% without the NJP for ultra easy execution)

A bit harder:

F122, B12, D1, B12xxPPxxHammer = 33% (32 without the D1, but the D1 actually makes it easier to connect), it's particularly harder on females (apparently if you step back a bit it's easier against them).

Jedi master:

F122, backwards B2 (as in, if you hit at the correct position and timing, B2 will throw the opponent backwards and you don't need to run), F122, B12xxPPxxHammer = 36%


My goto combo so far is the first one, it's only some decimals less damage than the B12 one (which is harder on females) and I also get the optional side switch. The backwards B2 one is really risky and you can drop the whole thing, as a norm I don't use combos if I can't execute them 99% of the time and I'm under 50% for that one so far. It's hard mostly becuase of the backwards B2, the rest of the string is actually pretty easy.

Yeah the one I got is 38% f121 B2 111 Cmd grab Ex hammer B12 Cmd grab hammer 38%

But I'm not sure if the combo can be done consistently or if it's breathing hurtbox problem with its inconsistent

Oh I forgot to add the meter versions, from the backwards B2 you can actually reach 39% for one bar (F122, B2, F122, B12xxPPxxExIceball, JIP, 111xxHammer).

But yeah the combo isn't too reliable IMO.

You can also reach 39% with F122, B12, D1, B12xxPPxxExHammer, B12xxPPxxHammer

But I wouldn't advise to use meter to increase combo damage as the increase isn't such a big deal and you will need it for other things (like comboing from the grab, EX tick throws in case you hit, armor, or X-Ray).

Second, @Lokheit, are you getting those B2, run, B12~Burst combos to work on the whole cast? I had that combo in the Unbreakable Guide, but only for males, as I could never get it to hit on females, unless the B2 catches them airborne. Even if you can, I have trouble imagining it as a viable bnb.

Third, @Braindead, I know the huge time investment it takes to put together a list of combos, so take or leave these things:
- Do you want notations for the highest damaging combos (i.e. more than one meter spent)?
- For AA hits, feel free to transfer the stuff I already have in the Unbreakable guide. It's all the same.
- When already have Aura on, after any regular freeze, (i.e. not Parry) you should Burst and then continue the combo. This will increase the damage, build meter, etc. I know you know this, and I get that it would be a pain to put in the guide. If it helps, I'm going to be mentioning it in my Living on a Pixel thread that I'm putting up soon, so you wouldn't necessarily have to put it here.

Yeah I usually forget the female hitbox problems as I mostly lab in the mirror match to try to defend against the stuff the character can do too, I haven't tried it against females.
 
nvm haven't tested the b2 with a ji2 starter.

raw b2 run b12 definitely doesn't work against females tho and i've found only is consistent against certain male hitboxes

i've been messing around midscreen in the mirror match with b2 run b12xxEXiceball fdash njp ji2 run f42xxslide for 30 percent. may be more correct to end with f12 for reclone setup in most cases tho.

Hammer natural damage is higher than the frost bomb so decimal numbers would be higher for the hammer version. But yeah that's the optimal string combination (for X-Ray combos too, it peaks at 50%).

You don't need to do three D1's to get 43%. Doing just two D1's still gives you 43%. Just thought I'd mention this to make someone else's life easier.
