The Slaj Jazz
TIckle my sweet salty nips
Just remembered you can watch replays
Dee Jay was amazingly fun. Really need a projectile character like him in 5.I miss Dee Jay
Someone mad they got no rhythm.if I could slap you, I would. The character was bad on every level.
its not a buffer just a cancel. The window is pretty late too.How are you supposed to buffer super from dash punch? I'm having a lot of trouble with that.
EDIT: Well I somehow just got it in Balrogs last trial but idk how
....and OMG they were so irritating....Who are all these Dee jay players and where were they in 4? I played vs like 5 actual Dee jay players in 4, ever.
want to play. How are you supposed to buffer super from dash punch? I'm having a lot of trouble with that.

Yo but actually Hakan looked cool. Never played SF4 but he looked hype to me....and OMG they were so irritating....
Pls no Deejay/Blanka/Viper/Fuerte/Hakan
T.Hawk is where I draw the line...
Surewant to play.
In 4 yeah. ST DeeJay was the boi.if I could slap you, I would. The character was bad on every level.
ST Dee Jay was the true definition of "Jack of all trades" even though he was a charge character. In 4 yeah. ST DeeJay was the boi.
eh. I think mines reliable until the bottom 7. Could be some wiggle room there.Anyone have a reliable tier list for this game?
Ok cool. Not trying to tier whore or anything (and hearing that everyone is viable is something i love to hear) just want to get a basic understanding of where everyone sits. So there are a couple of characters I plan on trying but I'm not sure how they play.eh. I think mines reliable until the bottom 7. Could be some wiggle room there.
T1 Chun
T2 Ryu
T3 Karin, Nash, Necalli, Ken, Cammy, Mika
T4 Vega, Alex, Guile
T5 Balrog, Dhalsim, Rashid
T6 Ibuki, Juri, Birdie, Laura, Fang, Bison
T7 Zangief.
Most people seem to agree Ryu/chun are top 2. And the others from T3 seem to round out top 8, order may vary but honestly they're all very strong and have some great matchup charts. Every character is viable, and they've all got at least one winning matchup imo.
I'm not a heavy SF player. But deejay was my guy. Sucked he had such weird/technical shit going on.. I need him, guy, fei long, sakura in 5. I think that list is good enough for me for a years of play.Who are all these Dee jay players and where were they in 4? I played vs like 5 actual Dee jay players in 4, ever.
Someone lacking the rhythm.....and OMG they were so irritating....

Alex is a big body that's slow with good buttons. He uses frametraps and command grab mixups for most of his damage. Pretty easy confirms and high damage potential, pretty scary if he gets going but doesn't have much mobility outside of specials that can get countered and punished. Works best if you can play a slow game and capitalize on your opponents mistakes, a good Alex can take 40-50 seconds just to get his first opportunity and kill you in the next 5.Ok cool. Alex
Dhalsim
Necalli
Birdie
Any info for them? Skill cap, general gameplan, cool factor, etc. Would really like to know what they tend to be trying to do (I will obviously try Urien but no one knows how he's going to play, unless he just basically plays like SF3 Urien)

shes easily the most fun character in the game to play, and she's also so overbearingly strong once the match starts going her way that people cry. If you like grapplers or mixup heavy characters no other character in the game has even half the setups and gimmicks she does. Her v trigger lets you do some pretty funny stuff and some of her swaggy stuff is pretty damn cool. Thanks for the help! I'll have to think on this one. Why the mika suggestions?
Interesting...might try her, but it'll be hard getting past that voice...I like her design but dear god her voice.shes easily the most fun character in the game to play, and she's also so overbearingly strong once the match starts going her way that people cry. use the Japanese one. Also just listen to music, the only time I ever even hear game sounds are during tournament streams.Interesting...might try her, but it'll be hard getting past that voice...I like her design but dear god her voice.
Honestly, I agree with Daigo on Mika being the same tier as Ryu. It's pretty hard to have a winning matchup vs her because her shenanigans start off of one mistake and you could die. She's very good at blowing up any sloppy play and you have to be on your Ps and Qs. That type of explosive stuff puts matchups more in your favor, really.eh.
