I played Guile a couple of nights ago against my friends Nash. He's a Guile main who played Nash before Guile's release, so he knows both sides of the match up, and I play neither. With just flash kick and sonic booms I was able to go even with him, and with significantly less effort than when I use Gief, Bison, Alex, Sim or Fang.

I was replying to a certain Ken hater, but I know how easy it is to use those characters. I was bodying people with ease using Nash. I agree with you.

I'm a Ken hater, but only when he's high on lag. Lag, like heroin, will fuck most people up, but Ken's like some kind of late 80's/early 90's metal singer who seems to do his best work on a crazy amount of lag.

Understandable. I've played 5 different characters in this game and I've had the most success using Nash. He's braindead easy to use. I'm not saying I'm great by any means because I'm not. I use Ken now and it's a lot harder to get the win now than when I was using Nash.

He has an easier time than the other characters I listed, except for perhaps Sim (but Sim's execution is pretty difficult to get used to).

I was mostly referring to Nash. Country plays Guile.

What do u mean? Fang has better set ups than both of those characters. He may not be the greatest, but he has a high ceiling. A ceiling I don't think you can reach

You can't call a 30 min set 'playing Guile'. I was just recounting my experience having played him, and that by using two of his tools, which are both very good, I was able to go even with somebody who isn't an utter scrub.

That's the hardest part for me playing Guile is those two tools.He has a very good keep out game unless you're using a character that can get around his booms.

I have only used 2 different characters Nash and Gief. I started with Nash until a lil over 2 weeks ago I picked up gief. I don't even play the character anymore.

Because fang dictates the pace of the match better than gief does. He pretty much has ice klone, his zoning isn't bad. He has really good buttons and his walk speed is great. He has his faults, like every other character in the game, but xian isn't that much better than everyone else that he can just win with a supposed shitter.

At this point, I just don't believe you even play the game. You just sit back and whine. You put 0 effort into it and it shows when all you do is cry.

Yes he is. But maybe your conspiracy theory is right and F.A.N.G is actually a top tier character that has been purposely downplayed so that someone can pull him out at the end of the year and win Capcom Cup

Karin is actually one of the hardest characters in the game to play, not win with, IMO.

Ken is only slightly harder to use than Nash.

karin has the 2nd hardest execution in the game with the easiest execution. She also has a godlike neutral and amazing normals that compensate for having to spend 10 minutes practicing her tenko.

Ken has to play with weaker normals and actually has to hit confirm his combos or end up punished.

And Ken is way harder to play than Nash. It's not even a competition. Outside of cammy and Ryu I'd say Nash is the easiest character to play.

Don't worry. I'm pretty sure Shazzy can consistently hit confirm low forward into super like a boss given he's a god and all.

I disagree wholeheartedly.

This game having easy execution overall has nothing to do with the fact that Karin has hard combos vs. the rest of the cast.

Ken has st.MK, probably the 2nd best whiff-punishing normal in the game (aside from Mika's f+MP?), that's EASYILY hit-confirmable into the crazy kicks TC xx HP SRK for effing godlike damage range-wise, for the amount of resources used (none). Even if you can't hit-confirm it from max range, which you should be able to by "spending 10 minutes practicing", it's only -6 which means most of the cast can't punish properly without meter or what have you. You can also cancel it into ex Hado to be plus on block.

Only hard hit confirm Ken has is b.mp into Chin Buster 2nd TC. Guess what tho! You can cancel this too into ex Hado to be plus on block and in their face! Don't forget that you can also link it from st.lp or cr.mp which makes it WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY easier to Hit-Confirm.

Finally, Ken has cr.mp, st.HK (mid-hitting CC that can combo from anywhere if it hits, also can link into cr.HP if VTCed), st. HP (9f CC mid-hitting move only -3 on block), air Ex.Tatsu (braindead tool to get in by using 1 bar), normal crossup air Tatsu that can launch into a combo, meaties that beat 3f normals from ANY KD barring backthrow (unless corner), TONS and TONS of Damage/Stun when in his never-ending V-Trigger state and gimmicky (but safe) tatsu knockdown setups. Try AAing his Triggered air tatsu and get comboed into over 400 stun for a plus on block aerial move that has no hurtbox.

Yeah, Ken is really hard to win with........

I also don't agree that Cammy and Ryu are easy to play. As the level of competition rises, they become progressively harder to win with. Not that they aren't good characters! IMO they're both top 6 (Ryu being no.1 and Cammy somewhere around 5-7).

I believe the easiest characters to play currently are:
1. Birdie
2. Necalli
3. Nash/Ken (can't decide, honestly...)

I mained Laura for the longest time. There's absolutely nothing hard about her. She might be the easiest character to use in the game. A Ken probably bopped you and now you're butthurt and want to downplay Ken and say he's easy. You insulted me when you said Ken was the 3rd easiest character to play though so just defending myself tbh. Let's be serious though, you're from Amsterdam. Pretty sure you know Snoop Dogg well.
