The "Who Do You Want To See In Injustice 2" Thread

After the first game was released,I had a list of characters that I felt were missing,but i'm surprised that i'm pretty content with the roster so soon in the process.
  • First thought Martian Manhunter was missing,and he became dlc ( he is my brother's favourite DC character so I do hope he comes back in this game so he has a character, but since movesets are pretty much the same I can always revisit the first to play him,so i'm good either way. The same goes for any other of my favourites from the first game, if they are in I will be happy but if they don't make it I won't be crushed).
  • I felt the flash needed a villain, as I belive he has one of the best rogues galleries in comics. This game is spoiling with my two favourites (since I am assuming Captain Cold is in).
  • I wanted the magic side explored more,my main requests being Doctor Fate and Swamp Thing, and it looks like Fate made it.
  • Black Manta,but since he is a transition,odds are his best chance is DLC, but since I got everything else I wanted I don't feel so bad.
Everyone else is gravy so I would feel greedy if I said someone from this list had to be in,but I do have some characters i'd like to see (spoilers for the first game in the following, though I think most here won't need them).
  • I think if the rumours for R'AS are true,he is a good choice to replace Joker if the game only takes place in the injustice universe. He has the name recognision,he would fit in a fighting game, and I am genuinly interested in how he would aproach the conflict.
  • Under a similar mindset I think Braniac would be a good replacment for Lex.
  • Firestorm would be nice,nothing really to add there.
  • Still would like Swamp Thing.
  • Speaking of that twitter vote, I think blue beetle would be a wise choice.
  • Lastly an Aquaman character,whether it be Manta, Mera, or Orm. He has a movie coming ant it would be nice to introduce his supporting cast to non-comic readers.

So earlier today I told him "I'm gonna create my OWN predicted base roster for this game", and that's what I'm here to talk about!

Some of the elements that went into making my predicted list where:
- Characters already confirmed / hinted at
- An estimated base-total amount of characters that will be there at launch; which I estimated based off of this image:

(Therefore the estimated total I came up with was 28 at launch)
- Personal preference for characters I would like to see, plus characters whom I found fitting for Injustice 2 and / or re-occurring characters not already confirmed.
- Making sure there's an even split between Hero characters and Villain characters (being 14 heroes and 14 villains respectively)

With that being said, this is what I came up with:

Based on the info given, feel free to make your own Injustice 2 prediction roster; preferably following the same total of Heroes and Villains as it is on my list, as that's a pretty accurate total to speculate on.

Dr. Fate isn't a villain. Solid list though.

I actually really hope Manhunter gets another shot on the base roster. I thought he was the one of the most unique and well-thought out designs in IJ1, even though he was pretty dumb balance wise.

Is there a who do we think will make it thread? I'd enjoy the rationale behind that more, I think given there's 28 spots it'll be 14 new and 14 returning so I based my predictions on that.
