Can't say anything about that since I haven't seen fox play spec ops that much but compbros is definitely the best spec ops MAIN out there. Though I wouldn't agree with him that brawler is better than Hollywood but that's just how I see it

I am indeed a Kenshi Main and i have tried all of his variations. Balanced is his best variation. and to prove that i'm a Kenshi Main

I don't play Kenshi but I do know this is an unpopular opinion. Kenshi mains tend to feel quite strongly that Balanced is easily the worst.

Balanced is a very Solid character and surprisingly good. at first i didn't want to try go near Balanced nor Kenshi in Particular because of most Kenshi player saying that he is a bad character and every character is a bad match-up for him, so i had no interest in playing the character. but after trying Balance Kenshi after the MKXL patch i was Surprised by how good the character is.

tbh i dont think the op has in depth knowledge of every variation in the game so this is a lot of "ive heard it somewhere" and superficial training room knowledge.

Yes, I don't have a lot of knowledge about every character's variation. Pretty sure more than 95% don't. I am going by many threads and general discussions with everyone here helping me w/ this resource.
I do know some as a fact, and I have to debate a lot within myself that are very close. Labbing some characters and making educated guesses helped aswell. YouTube videos also did some work. But obviously it's not going to be 100% correct, aND you all helped too.
If you're going to argue give an explanation or it will remain the same

I posted a thread asking if he was viable. There were very good explanations saying he wasn't viable. As did Ketchup.
I don't know anything about Balanced, so decided to do this.

Kung Lao

Tempest > Hat Trick > Buzzsaw

Kotal Khan

War God > Sun God > Blood God

I don't know shit about the other Alien variations. Strictly Tarkatan.

I'm sure the Kung Lao one seems weird. Imo Buzzsaw, out of all of the characters in the game, is the most removed from the meta. He has to land around 7-8 times to win in a lot of cases. Unless you land 44 or B321 clean, the variation just isn't going to cut it. Getting 10% less when you land an EX spin hurts.

Hat Trick at least can confirm for big damage with EX hat toss and jail stuff off of EX kallback to create advantageous mind games. That's pretty cool. Tempest still reigns supreme for sure.

I believe Hat Trick has more problems than Buzzsaw.

I remember you also said you placed Balanced as top tier some time ago. You said you had no time to justify why and that you would update when you can.

In what MUs is BM better than SQ? And how is BM better than Venomous?

BM isn't better than SQ ever really, but it has a lot more options and tricks than Venomous. I used to think Venomous was better until I labbed out BM for a while and found some fun stuff, and it really rewards creativity on conversions. Also, +22 is fun.

BM could be really good imo when they'd fix her links. Having to use 2 bars just to not to have 1 frame links is pretty dumb

SQ is better then both of them however BM isnt the only one with one frame links. ill take your word for her 1 frame links however BM can get a fairly easy settup that leads to an overhead low hard to blockable thats easier than SQ's 1 frame link low.
