Character Specific Fixes

  • Cassie - Flip Kick now has 7 startup frames (up from 6)
  • Cassie - Flip KickEx no longer has armor
  • Cassie - Down+FP is now -6 on block (up from -8)
  • Cassie - Away+BK has increased pushback and is now -4 on block (up from -9)
  • Cassie - Change the last input of the Cage Raged combo from Away+BP, FP, BP, Down+FP+BP to Down+BP+BK
  • Cassie - Reduced the cancel advantage of the 4th hit of the Away+BP, FP, BP, Down+BP+BK combo
  • Cassie - Away+BP, FP, BP is now -14 on block with less pushback (down from -4)
  • Cassie (Hollywood) - The hit advantage of Nut Buster and Nut Kracker are now more consistent regardless of the height it connects at
  • Cassie (Brawler) - Added Haymaker (enhanced version of Take Down) which is armored and does more damage
  • Cassie (Brawler) - Added Bone Breaker (enhanced version of Bow Breaker) which is armored, does more damage, and can combo from a hit

Youph told me that Cassie no longer has armour on her EX Flip. Which in my opinion is fair. I'd prefer if they just made the EX version like 9 frames or something but hey, I'm not complaning lol.

Brawler's DBF2 works on hit. I'll check to see what happened - if anything - to Spec Ops tomorrow but losing the armour on EX Flip sucks for those two.

Well, it's not the end of the world I suppose. We still have a meterless vortex in the corner (provided it doesn't push Cassie away) and safe mixups when we get the oppertunity to do them. It sucks for Spec Ops that flip doesn't have armour, and Brawler too - however they still have EX BF4 for waking up so it's not that bad. Not helpess, not great, but whatever.

But at least she can wakeup, it's still a read the attacker has to be careful about. You play Spec Ops though as your main variation, so my condolences to you - I know you really needed that 14% lol.

From what I've noticed with minimal testing because I dont have someone on
B212D1+2 changed to B212D2+4 (Possibly gap before the 2+4)
Nutpunch has pushback, opponent can backdash B1
EX Flipkick armor is gone
Air gun now 11F

I used the armor for mind games after 242. I'd sometimes EX flip kick and, because of this, people would get punished for their punish attempt. After a while people stopped trying to hit buttons on 242. This really hurts that for me.

Can someone pull all the frame data for spec ops? I'm curious if they changed anything seeing the nerf to flip kick. Maybe a new string? One can hope.

Wow, didn't think they would hit her this hard. It's a shame cause she's pretty cool and doesn't get much representation at tournaments.

You can still counter poke with EX BF4 but the reward vs the risk won't be great. Still an option though :)

Why did they have to touch the character at all. She wasn't the least bit broken or OP. It looks like they basically took away her vortex. And she gets NO damage mid screen. The best shes doing mid screen is around 20% I think her being a vortex character is fair because just about every other character can do 35 and above with a bar while she does about 25 with one.
