11xxice blast is meterless, Pig. You don't need to spend the bar. So yeah Sub Zero has meterless options as you showed. Not to mention you could also use Cryomancer and confirm 111xxMBhammer for like 900% or something dumb like that.

This has been known for the longest. The reasons everyone thinks "X" character is broken/braindead is because no one in this community labs shit out and when they do, it's a rare occurrence that they find something useful or not known. IMO, this is just like Batgirl in Injustice. Only the players that grind out MU's and neutral with the character will get anywhere with that character I.E., MIT(if he still uses her ), Dab, Dragon, SonicFox, West Coast Jeff, Me)), ETC. How is Tanya more braindead than how Shinnok/Quan were/still are? I just don't understand all the Tanya hate. She's been nerfed like what, 2-3 times now? What more do you guys want?

Props to @Pig Of The Hut for actually spending time in the lab unlike others, but I wouldn't call Tanya braindead. Nor would I say the players who actually main and don't have her as a pocket character are braindead/bad.

This is really good. Usually when I play people I actually do test the waters by doing B1 2+4 EX Tonfa or EX Tonfa from a distance just to see if they know better, if they don't I abuse it lmao. But if they do know all this then I just stick to B1 EX Tonfa (while spacing it correctly so it jails)

I guess that would make me a "smart-ass" because I knew this since I main her lol but great video bro, should def help people see that she can't do whatever she wants all the time

IMO she is still really good though I feel like she only looks 'brain-dead' when people don't know how to fight her so they just get away with gimmicks, but once you fight someone who knows the MU as a Tanya player it's actually full of mind-games/baits/etc. I love it

Good stuff but the ex tonfa punish was known like day 2 of Tanya release.

Problem is and always was that smart Tanya players will mix things up and going for ex tonfa is just 1 in 4. And the moment you punish them for doing it they will obviously stop using it. Tanya have few other, decent options.

Also dunno why some people say Tanya is braindead character, if so then like 1/2 or even 3/4 of the roster is braindead.

Ferra Torr can do the block low high low then release against B1 2+4 EX tonfa toss and punish with F2 into full combo since F2 will low profile them underneath the tonfa on the way back

U can back dash and forward and backward jump

Characters w great JI attacks will connect w her but on block but that's ok if your character has a 50/50

That won't happen. People only agree on air fireball and regular fireball having less recovery. Which they'll probably fix. But the multiple other problems she has won't be addressed mainly the gaps in her strings.

But since pyro only has the strings that are universal they won't help her cause that would be a buff to Kobu. And we can't let that happen. She's broken.

Thanks for this pig, when we lose to characters we tend to scream they are broken or "OP" without labbing them to find what we can beat. Tanya does seem pretty simplistic and braindead when you see the standard b1 rekka stuff (especially seeing 4 of them in esl), but there are ways to beat her. If everyone stopped complaining about characters and labbed more, there would be a lot less salt/misinformation /overuse of the word braindead .

Hell i had a tanya player on tym try to tell me how to counter rekka and said shes not too scary when you figure here out and the guy got attacked and called a "downplayer". This is good info for sure. Thanks brother.

In fairness to you I dont think this was actually posted anywhere, it was just common knowledge for those who played/played againt Tanya a lot. Good on you for making it more well known.

B22 is best for a lot of wake ups

Regarding Predator. You can actually destroy all EX moves with the B3 11 string. You just have to delay a bit longer then in the video. You can even punish Cassie EX Cartwheel using B22. The only ones I'm aware that I haven't figured a way to stop was Goro Punchwalk because of 2 hits of armor and yeah the Cassie EX nutpunch.

As for the EX SS on her Tonfa toss. It also works well against such moves as Shinnok hellsparks and some of the others zoners in the game.

Issue I have with Predator is the jailing B1 EX Tonfa or B1,2+4 tonfa or the guess of B1 or B1,2+4 recka nonsense...

The armoring of D4 low lazer or EX lazer can also be stopped if the Predator does D4 plasma cancel. This even stops Laos EX spin or Reptile/Subs EX slide reversals.

I usually do 32 laser cancel. If they wake up it hits and I'll convert to punish. If blocked I'll go into laser mixups/throw etc.

I've heard more tearing about his corner game than his zoning.
