I'm finally starting to get a bead on how to read threads here...
I don't judge the game from Sonic Fox's or DJT's level of perspective. That would be like judging my striking on how well I can hit Floyd Mayweather, Jr. I judge the game from a level above mine. I can see the meta a level above where I'm at, but I can't see the S+ meta yet. Most posters here may differ with me in opinion, but they see things from the same perspective I'm looking from. So, when players who get the S+ meta say something, you can try to see if its up-playing, downplaying, or on the level - but to dismiss it completely or disrespect them is asinine - and belittles your perspective in the eyes of others here.
Most above average players will think online is fine because they're not counting frames. As you progress beyond this, you'll see its a problem that makes you choose. You either learn to adjust your game to keep lag from hurting you in key spots - or you try to maximize your skills to the utmost for offline play. Either way, it diminishes not only the experience - but also the growth of players into the elite - as they have to choose their area of specialization.
