At this point PC version is the best version of the game. Obviously that means only better visuals, faster loading etc... Netcode is crap a cross all platforms, coz it is the same.

Is not still behind console patches and other gameplay bugs that have not been fully addressed? Last I heard it still was.

EntropicByDesign

It's all so very confusing.
I forgot to mention, if you plan to play online vs your RL friends in the same city/town/state - this does NOT guarantee a good connection. The best connection I've ever had is to a member here who's located in Texas, which is about 1100 miles from me, approx. Where-as my connection to two RL friends in the same fucking city are unplayable.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we are totally caught up. There are still bugs and bullshit and balancw oddities but those are.MKX wide and not platform specific.

I play on steam from time to time. I love playing others with wired connections and good pcs, I have several on my list with clean games played. The "skilled" part is relative, but please add me.

Nope, for quite long time now its up to speed when it comes to patches and almost all platform specific bugs have been addressed.

My win rate on ranked is around 70%, which I suppose counts as 'skilled'. Steam id is MrDutchguy, feel free to add me Arson.
My win rate on pc is 85% but I dont say " I'm skilled " and I dont mean it because online rank means nothin', you should try to be humble ;) :)

random answers:

it was really crappy at first, balance patches are on par with consoles and wait times are usually a couple of days and whoever picked up the game did an amazing job solving most issues with the game crashing
pc version has also an internal benchmark that goes along ping bars in matchmaking (ie 60fps on skytemple), we now use those to filter good matches

playing randoms is ALWAYS a bad idea, whether on console or pc, idiots play wireless or less than 60fps because MUH resolution
just build a decent friend list of skilled/lagless ppl. I often go into publics tho and search for new ppl, still not disappointed with big numbers

community wise, read above about a decent FL and just avoid steam forums, those are cancer along with non english speaking russian bots
if you're from europe we're trying to get something going with @RVB 's amazing job in hosting and streaming weekly tournaments
I always have 20-30 ppl playing and willing to vs

yeah just like Shura said now is the time to get into MKX on PC, there's plenty of retailers that sell it and it runs ok even on a laptop.
@PND_Ketchup plays it on one and it runs just fine from what he told me.
As for what me and the rest of the PC crew that I got going, we're trying to do a weekly tourney for EU players.
I am interested in hosting a regular NA tourney as well but I need to test out the connections and how much lag my presence in a koth will cause.
Maybe @cR slacked, @FMLfirewall, @karaokelove or some other NA dudes can help me out with that.
I'd ask @RM AtK! or @Chodenificent but they're both ass hats :DOGE

I'm trying to host a weekly NA tournament but I suck at hosting tournaments so I'd need someone to do it with me.

I would focus in EU, when the scene is stablished and pretty much mature you should jump into NA. So you don't get saturated.

Honestly, I think there's still a lot of work to be done on the EU side, please keep your focus here atm

Steam Name: Enexemander

I'm on the U.S. East Coast (Maryland) with a pretty good connection / solid 60 fps. I'm looking to get back into the game after a long break.

I'm on vacation from the 16th to the 26th, so don't be discouraged if I don't get your friend request right away.
