I'm a little bit afraid of how much they buffed him. I played a lot of Cryo before the patch, and he was pretty strong then. Now, it's like he's a monster. I think he's going to be adjusted and toned down a bit in the future. Honestly how powerful his options are right now baffle me.

Same. I would be surprise if his damage and/or vortex doesn't get touch at all.

His 40-43% 1 meter combos are so easy to do lol.

Also did anyone notice if there was a single unique animation added to ANY of the characters? For future predictions, we may want to tailor our expectations with the knowledge that genuinely new moves/ animations aren't coming.

Free B2 or B3,3 and they can't do anything but guess right.

Edit: I know it's not meterless, but there's an example.

Yeah, I know the EH Ice Blast one. I'm curious if the meterless one @xQUANTUMx mentioned is comparable to his MK9 restand.

Or is it just something like 1,1,1,Ice Blast ~ JIP,b,1,2?

@ChaosTheory It's the example @xInfra Deadx gave basically. Midscreen I use b12 Bc f12 pushes them away too much. In the corner f12 all day. What I meant by meterless was that you could put them in that guessing game off any freeze basically. But situation dependent of course. Personally i only go for this kind of thing in the corner. In the neutral game he has more than enough tools to deal with shit

thank you for noticing this, thats what i said yesterday and about 5 people started criticizing me last night last evening, this morning i had 48 private messages in my box supporting(like your response to aqua boy) me in what i had to say to that hill rat and his attempt to be a glory hog on work that was not his, nice to see someone with a brain and eyes pick up on that kc

Yeah, I'm messing with it now. Probably old to you guys but I haven't been able to grind this game much to this point. Thought maybe there was an MK9-type situation to be had, which would be even better in MKX because everything is high-low.

But meterless you're giving up 13% (33% to 20%) and 1-bar you're still giving up 10% or more. Even if you take the (pseudo-) free-throw, you're only breaking even in terms of damage. Seems smarter to opt for the full combo.

At 2-bars it's a little more interesting, I suppose. You don't lose any damage, you still have your free-throw, and obviously the 50/50. Starting the combo at mid-screen or closer carries all the way to wall, so you can get big meterless damage off the low (32%) or the overhead (38%). The free-throw isn't a bad option either. It's basically 1-bar, 12% combo-extender.
