to explain the bug:
If you did a whiffed jump in or jump back Punch, and before u hit the ground u held Crouch (whether d or d/f or d/b)...u simply wont be able to BLOCK after! whether ur holding block or even pressing it.
if you kept on holding crouch the bug will always be activated UNTIL you release ur hand from Crouch. If you tried to chain, without removing your hands/finger from crouch, and motioned to either forward or backward and kept holding this direction (whether forward or backward), the bug will also be ACTIVE STILL.
simply u wont be able to block.
to break this situation, simply be nuetral for a moment, or press any other button to escape such situation so u can be able to re block again. NOTE: tag button doesnt affect such situation.
Like an idiot, i forgot to correct this and instead of re capturing the vid, i simply uploaded an older recorded version i made form couple of weeks.
for this bug to happen u dont have to press block and CROUCH while landing....simply as soon as u land from jump deep punch, just hold crouch. this will activate the bug were u wont be able to block!

Do you know whats a jump in DEEP punch?
lets put this example of a regular hurtbox, lets say Kitana (
Exclude Sheeva for this example).
Jump deep punch Starts From Opponent face, down tell you reach the ground. so as of hight, it starts from feet, up to the Face.
Jump deep punch is required by some certain characters due to the following Attack attribute. For example;
1- Kratos. to Link f+2 after a jump punch, the Jumping arc has to be
DEEP! or else, f+2 will be blockable.
IF ! an early bird jump punch is preformed, meaning the punch starts and is pressed/ active frames from (As soon as the arc jump is done) >> (Tell above the head).
In that case, f+2 WONT CONNECT!
2- Same goes to kruegur. the jump punch has to be deep or else f+4,2,1 wont hit Connect*
So, jump deep punch doesnt mean that it's RIGHT before you reach the ground at all! it means it's active from the arc jump when the jump arc reaches opponent face >> or below. so the window to input your punch, form the face, down to the ground is called =
" JUMP IN DEEP"

like KT Smith, this example HAPPENS easily after cross overs, specially if opponent lowered their hit boxes. havnt you ever notice that sometimes Mileena or sonya or reptile or Barak , when you cross up they do cr+4x2? the first one whiff, and the second one will hit you? while on paper, BOTH of you have a frame war advantage? " by means, the faster poke input, is the one that will get excuted"
not only that, THIS makes people cry a lot against reptile...JUST BECAUSE that instead of jump arcing with nothing, they jump arc with punch and then crouch block. simply reptile can quickly 2x Elbow dash.

to be honest, this Bug is NOT a Major threat! the reaosn is, high level play you wont see something like that and YOU WONT use something like that...BUT it happens! EVEN in majors as well in high level play. though you wont see it often.
it's the same like the input Bug....probability based on excution
