• Converters NOT allowed

Area accomodations:

• 4 hotels within walking distance of venue

• Many different restaurants within walking distance

• The venue is a game store and is also within walking distance from hotels.

• Venue is holding 10% prices lower than GameStop

Event Accomodations:

• High chance of being streamed via Twitch on STB channel

• 2 60"+ monitors

• PA system

• Snacks and drinks sold on site or there's other small stores within walking distance. Capped drinks ONLY

• Live Bracket updates via Challonge

I desperately want to get into the scene, but haven't had much luck finding a good place for MKX in Alabama. I can travel to TN every now and then if I have to

I'm there if it's on a weekend 110%. Friday's are pretty solid as well but it would be nice to make sure we get the 9-5 grinders in there too. Knoxville is about an hour away from me...I'm in the Tri-Cities area.

It'll more than likely be a Saturday or even a sunday. I work tues - Saturday but can get a requested day off if necessary for Saturday if that's what's best for the event.

Peak hours at this venue is between 2-5pm Saturdays so that will most likely be what we shoot for

That's not bad at all. Think we can get an entire tourney ran in that little timeframe? I know we can't do the entire streamed obviously but is "to completion" possible? Either way, I'm down for this all day long!

Well yeah I'm sure we can stream the whole tournament in its entirety. Just depends on turn out. I'd love to stream the tournament from match 1 to GF, I actually prefer that.

I'm just saying peak hours are between those two times so a lot of people would love to walk by and get pulled in and watch. It can be hype as hell just gotta get people to compete

Gotcha! Be really nice to have top 8 or 16 during those times! Kinda early to get the thing started if that's the case but would be cool!

I think we may just have enough people to get the ball rolling now. I'm going to develop a plan and call the business so we can start dialing in a date so everyone has time to plan off days.

More than likely this event will take place on Saturday. I'll keep everyone updated.

This is awesome. Good luck @Aqueous_Echo I wish I lived a little closer so I could attend. If I win the lottery soon and can afford whatever my little heart desires then I will make an appearance. I am trying to help my local scene grow as well, I just found out that the next event for fighting games won't be until the winter because of....sports games...bleh. We had a big enough showing that I think we could definitely have a monthly, just need a venue is what I was told by the TO
