What I miss in Tournaments

I understand. It was really fun to do and genuine the first time you said your line, but after the third time (with the low angle camera) it did become kinda awkward. That's just the way "showbiz" works man.

I still remember when Michaelangelo got bodied by an interviewer after he won, it was like she was trying to blow him up for winning lol. Shit was hilarious.

When the winner would go on commentary and talk about the match in Injustice, that was cool because it was light-hearted and casual. Actual interviews seem a little awkward and ESL was hella cringe-worthy, they should never do that again. Like, ever.

Doesn't have to be in front of the whole audience at the event, but the winner sitting down with the stream commentators to recap the match and discuss their thoughts generally would be great from a viewer's perspective.

It could also be an opportunity for the winner to talk shit about someone that perhaps wasn't at that tournament but who they hope to body at some point in the future. Kind of like when a winner of a UFC fight calls out the current beltholder after the win and says "I'm coming for the belt biatch!"

I've done on-stream post tournament interviews with winners since KIT 2014.

But putting someone who just lost on the mic is a bad idea.

I agree in a way though, I would like to see some speeches but some players are kinda awkward and shy and don't want to do that shit and I relate. I can see both sides really

I also think entrance music chosen by each kombatant should be mandatory for every top 8. CEO had the right idea, they need to build on that.

I feel like I just regained my virginity. I mean...I know the competitive gaming community is filled with pretty anti-social and awkward dudes but holy hell. That was BAD...

It depends sometimes speeches are fun and meaningful, but most the time they are not really necessary. Don't see why they would be necessary in regular sports either
