The classic mk ninja costume has a smaller hit box, ( or hurtbox I don't know). At least for sub zero. Wish I could post a video, but I'm almost sure that classic sz has a hit box similar to a female so... Smaller. I'm a commando kano main, and some of his combos just can't connect to females and I know kano isn't the only one that has this issue. Well, sub zero, being my favorite character in the mk franchise, therefore my main practice dummy, i picked him. I thought I'd mix it up a little bit and pick the classic costume for him because it's my favorite. It looks awesome with the unbreakable mask, btw. But when i went to practice some combos, i found that i was having problems connecting them. The same combos that I would have problems connecting to females. So i went to player select, and chose his original costume because something told me the costume was to blame. The result? My hunch was true. I landed everything. It sounds strange, but i think the classic costume makes him smaller. Not sure if it works with scorpion, but it's the same thing pretty much. Can anyone confirm this? If it's true, then all the subs out there should start using it! I know it sounds like I'm saying to exploit a bug or something but... A tournament player would do it, right?!
