I have never experienced any of these issues, I find it interesting to read about them.I'm glad this problem doesn't exist on the ps4 version. Sounds like I'm always hearing something negative about the x1 version.
Yea but you can get an ethernet hub and stay wiredWelp guess the VPN solution is out for me. My PC only has 1 ethernet port and no wifi.
No, because it seems it's network or device/network conflict related, not game code or a local issue with the game.I find it weird that only some people have these issues. If it's a game issue, wouldn't everyone have problems?
No. Why does the game work perfectly for 1month, then after a patch it all goes to shit? Along with the fact that EVERYTHING else is working fine says it's on their side. Also connection speed has nothing to do with online play, the only point that makes it relevant is that generally faster connections like 50mbit+ are fibre connections which have lower latency. In terms of bandwidth required, I think I recall someone posted the game uses approx 30kb/s (equiv to a 3mbit connection), which most people across the world would have access to.I'm pretty sure this has something to do with connection speed. I know 5 guys on my friends list who have slow Internet and it happens to them alot.
Wouldn't that be great! Don't know how much or if it would help, but would be handy regardless. Although i'm sure if we did Damo would've probably DDoS'd them by now lol!Is anyone in here able to figure out the NRS update and online server IP on the XB1? It would arguably greatly help, cause i would like to run a few tests with and without VPN (tracert and what not)
Thanks for the info, will have a look and see if it helps. That said, no user should have to deal with this if the game didn't have a online-play-breaking bug, or was at least fixed in a reasonable time. Now, I'm pretty sure every gamer has heard of VPNs,
I 100 % agree, as I said in a previous post, no one should be forced to use any of this... I would also like to say I do not gain ANYTHING by "promoting" this VPN method. I'm simply doing so because it works and I have never had a better online experience with NRS games since I used this. (I played NRS games online since MK 9 release). 2 Bar ranked games that I just instantly used to decline feel suddenly better than 3-4 bars before. If it was any other company I would say they changed something about the netcode during the time I didn't play the game due to the LSoD but since it's NRS that would be ridiculous to assume... My ranked queues are nearly instant now, the transition between the "phases" is infinitely faster than before and it just actually feels like playing a game now instead of watching someone slowly drown under water...Thanks for the info, will have a look and see if it helps. That said, no user should have to deal with this if the game didn't have a online-play-breaking bug, or was at least fixed in a reasonable time.
Some routers are set to shift between the different standards. So if it detects wireless G band mostly on the network, it switches to send that, but then if there is a wireless B band... it switches to that.@NRF CharlieMurphy what was thing you told me to do with my router in regards to the wireless that helped it out? I can't remember, maybe that could help these guys.
Edit: I always HardLine for Mkx, but some wireless setting on my router was making it go to strict Nat from Open randomly, didn't matter what game I was playing, Murphy told me to switch some setting on my router that had to do with the wireless on the router, and I haven't had the issue since. I hard Line into my router. I never had the loading screen of death, but noticed I couldn't connect to certain people because my NAT was strict.
Not sure if this is in any way related but... I was checking out the official WBGames/MK forum, and some of the pages were giving me Error code 7 (net::ERR_TIMED_OUT) errors. Somehow I was logged out, so tried to login and again... every time i refresh or try and login i get the same error. Is anyone in here able to figure out the NRS update and online server IP on the XB1? It would arguably greatly help, cause i would like to run a few tests with and without VPN (tracert and what not)
your the first person to even give us a feed back thank GOD over 2 month ive tried to get throughThanks everyone for all of the valuable information. We are trying to track this down. This information has been very helpful.
That's because in the background, the game is reinstalling all of your DLC. This is the problem I've had all along and it's a very simple thing to prove. Just uninstall all of your DLC, start the game and it starts right up, no slow down, freezing, etc... But if you have DLC installed, the game tries to reinstall it every fucking time you've reset your Xbox One. You can see this visually happening just by starting the game after a power on/reboot, go into Manage Game and watch as every single piece of DLC you have TRIES to reinstall itself and I say try because 1 or more will fail and you'll be stuck with DLC that says "INSTALLATION STOPPED!" and all you can do is manually uninstall it, quit MKX, manually reinstall the DLC, then launch MKX and if you're lucky, you'll have your DLC back, but even this doesn't work 100% of the time.I didn't really read the OP, but I have issues just starting up the game.
I'll boot up MKX and on the main menu, it will freeze constantly like every 2 or 3 seconds for a few minutes before finally becoming smooth and able to navigate the menus. It's fucking annoying as hell.
Jesus finally! Thanks everyone for all of the valuable information. We are trying to track this down. This information has been very helpful.
Thank you so much for acknowledging this Tyler, you're the first person to. I've called Xbox support (useless) and I've posted many times on the NRS/WBGames forums and the only response I ever got from a mod was telling me to watch my language, no acknowledgement of the problem or anything. Thanks everyone for all of the valuable information. We are trying to track this down. This information has been very helpful.
Holy shit yes! Thank you!!!Thanks everyone for all of the valuable information. We are trying to track this down. This information has been very helpful.
So, why does MKX do this and any other game I have... doesn't? Odd.That's because in the background, the game is reinstalling all of your DLC. I'd love to know this as well. I only have the issue with MKX, not even Arkham Knight (another WB Games game) has this problem...So, why does MKX do this and any other game I have... doesn't? Odd.
Just do what I mentioned a few posts above and it'll MOST LIKELY fix it for you. You may have to do it more than once though, I certainly have.well ive just bought the tremor bundle no tremor lol but skins hear
