Who is the worst character in MKX?

Johnny cage, he has to work so hard to just get 20% on someone, Jason is pretty not great too.
Lol what? JC can get at least 30% no meter midscreen in any variation, but his big damage is in Stunt Double and A List. And if you're not taking off 35-50%+ in the corner any time you put them there, you're doing it wrong in general. Even something as simple as f+2,4, D+1 f+2,4 xx Nutpunch is simple and almost 30%

If Goro receives a solid AA and slightly better walk or run speed, boom, high tier material. His ground game is top 10 material and his corner game is top 5 material. But...

He is free as fuck against jump ins and his movement is really sluggish.

He prolly has the highest practical damage, crazy frame traps aka high chip dmg, really good normals a lot of plus and safe string, crazy corner pressure, godlike footsies, good pokes, great back and forward dash, pseudo mix ups and mind games. JCs only problems are his miss randomly whiffing or not reaching and a floaty ass jump

What's exactly wrong with Kitana F2 being an overhead? It's still slow (everyone, with decent Kitana experience can block that on reaction) and the whole string + any other mind game/option is still punishable as hell

F/T lacks real raindead reversal/GTFO move when hes using vicious/ruthless and reach when using lackey. These are sole reason why few play F/T competively. If Ferra would stay piggyback for eternety guy would be too good. Like Hakan in USF4 Oilkan is gawdlike and Drykan is red lobster ready to be eaten
I love F/T as is...but god...if we could have Lackey's moves when Ferra is off our backs, I would be SOOOOO happy.

His low game is pretty ass too, that's probably the only thing keeping him out of top 10. He doesn't have much other than d+4 and the last hit of 1,1,3 to mix up with f+2

It's all so very confusing.
Kitana.. I've watched kitana mains do some serious work, impressive reads, excellent baits and setups, just really play solidly.. And round after found they still lose .

Kitana is the only character I've seen where you can consistently beat your opponents and still lose the match.

She is poopy.

Ive played against an excellent Jackie player twice in two different tournaments and won both times, and I honestly didn't feel disadvantaged in the match up. The only thing I remember was ducking under everything and her pushing herself closer and closer to a corner that she didn't want to be in vs GM.

But this could just be my opinion.
If she blocks one b2 you eat like 40%. You also don't even know what her name is fuck off pls

Reptile takes the cake with this one,all useless variations,lackluster damage and he really feels rushed or just looked over.
I played around with Reptile and once I got his moves into muscle memory, he's one of the few characters I can handle hard mode without combos. He has something to respond to everything. I though that is why event hubs had Nimble at #1.

The reptile downplaying makes me want to vomit, he's really not THAT bad

  • 11 frame overhead which is completely unreactable(supposedly +1 according to frame data)
  • String that leads into an overhead which is hard to react to especally with slide mixups
  • Forceballs control the screen and full combo
  • Two very good low strings
  • noxious just hurts people who are around you, this character puninshes you for standing close to him you take damage comboing him
He has a bad damage output and no safe specials, those are his two main flaws other then that he's fine. He doesn't have major fundamental flaws like kitana, goro and shinnok for example.

- He's +1? Wow, good thing he has a poke that can take advantage of that... oh wait... he doesn't have one faster than 9 frames.
- That string (F412) is negative no matter where you stagger it and he has no way to end it safely. If you know the frames here... easy punish.
- Forceballs don't control shit with their horribad startup and recovery, not too mention multiple hitting projectiles, teleports and the like.
- B34 is really good as it can blow up wakeups, even armored ones. It is -8 on block however.
- Noxious is good, I don't get the hate here... I'll give you this one.

For the 143225 time, he doesn't need a damage buff. His damage is fine. He needs a frame data buff (and then his damage would definitely be fine where it is)

My thought as already been adapted, if saying that I can beat so and so character with this so and so character then the said player must really suck.

All I can tell you is that when I was mid-screen, the more time she spent trying to straight zone me and frustrate me, the less it worked and the more she pushed herself to the corner, and when she was in the corner, she has the same options as everyone else, spot a bad klone cancel and MB her way out of the corner, and whilst trying to push her there, I had to check her potential run in between projectiles.

That's how the opponent wanted to play it against me, and I won the three times we met in tournament. Im sure Jacqui players can play the match up differently, that's their choice, but if they aren't trying to zone out Sub Zero in this way, are they playing the match up to her strengths in that variation?
