Hey, you should look into the CronusMAX converter so you can use XB1 controllers on PS4 OR - you can buy the 40 dollar Hori Fighting Commander 4 that has the D-pad similar to the xbox ones ^_^ i'm getting one myself and also have the CronusMAX and can answer any questions about it for you

Is the CronusMAX converter tournament legal? That would probably be my first option.

I've seen some weird pads you have to order from China. The way I use my thumbs to create shortcuts on the dpad and the 1,2,3,4 buttons do not work on the standard PS4 pad (i.e. if I'm doing Jax's 123 string, I roll my thumb in a motion to hit those three buttons. On PS4, I whiff the 3 and get punished lol. Also back, forward inputs always make me jump back.) Not sure if the Hori would fix those issues, but I'd buy it in a second if it did.

Well imo i think they are not as good as wargod but deffenitly not bad. If u dont know the mu then they can give u alot of trouble.

I'm usually very intolerant of lag in player matches, but hey I'll give it a shot if someone wants to learn the matchup. I was going to post in The Wharf thread, but I know I've played RL Stormy once and I remember immediately quitting because the connection was untenable. I'd be willing to try again though.

Man the moment you wanna do raw Overhead punch and you get jump back. So annoying and I actually prefer the ps4 pad.

Sungod gives me a little trouble. I'm not really sure how to counter his command grab, even if I can make the read. Tried neutral ducking, back dashing, ect. Whats the counter?

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to BloodGod. The few I've played, I bodied and they switched to WarGod and gave me a much better fight.

I had that problem until a put shortcut inputs on. On PS4 any time I want any raw special that is back forward, I jump backwards instead lol.

I would love to get some Jax experience, so far the ones I have played have just zoned me out with Heavy Weapons until I broke them. Which is fine and all, but I don't learn a lot from it.

The messed up thing is that the CronusMax has a tournament edition firmware that takes away all the stupid macros and tool-assisted stuff. http://controllermax.com/manual/Content/tournament_edition_firmware.htm. I know policing it would be really hard, but if TOs as whole would just embrace ONE of the converters, I think it would make everything so much simpler. Imagine having every controller show up as a PS4 controller rather than dealing with legacy PS3 controllers? Though they aren't going to get that good sponsorship money from Sony/MS/Madcatz/etc/ if they're circumventing licensing, so it's never going to happen.

Not to derail this thread with converter talk, but there's also rumors of it causing dropped inputs when two USB controllers are plugged in. I doubt it's actually true though.

Jump, armor or backdash gets u out. Or you can make a read and let them hit u so the CG whiffs.
