What if you could switch variations mid game

Lets make a fun thread talking about how more broken the game could be.

We all know the variation system is designed to give characters specific weaknesses, strengths, and focuses on player preference. But I was wondering what could happen if this variation system became something else and allowed us to use all moves.

Switch them in the middle of the game and in combos. Like Dante from Devil May Cry 4 with his style change. You would be able to switch them as fast like that as well.

Just imagining Tanya branching Kobujutsu into Naginata's for standing resets into Kobujutsu blockstrings bitches would be far worse.

3d MK doesn't have Puggles and Portals happening in one character! Not even Minion Grab and Hellfire Aura happening in one character either. I understand that it has the weapon stance change but MKX would be ridiculously broken!
