The PC version gets a lot of hate but many people have had very good experience with it. For example me. I have it on Ps4 and PC and I pretty much only play the PC version for convenience sake as I can see no real difference between them, though PS4 has a larger player base.
The lag is just as bad on PC as in console. People say there is a difference but there isn't. Ranked and Match can find bad players through, as PC doesn't have region locking like the corporate networks for Xbone and PS4. So it is possible to find players in ranked that are from Iceland or w/.e. This is NOT a problem with the port, but the PC version dose need something new and extra added to it that would force region locking in the ranked mode.
Still, what I do, is just open a room with my location (say Australia East) and play with the people in there. Most will be full bars and the games play extremely well (for online). I would say that in many ways they play better than PS4 as for some reason the connections seam better outside the ps4 network. I also like rooms as you get to know people and for friendships.
It doesn't crash, it doesn't have frame drops (everything on max 1080p), I'm not a pro but there doesn't appear to be input lag. I've never lots my saves, I was never stuck in the krypt.... the PC version has been a completely positive experience for me. I do not have a AMD so can not speak to the problems that card has (you know.. with EVERYTHING
)
I use a:
Gforce GTX 960
Intel i7-2600 @ 3.4
8 Gig Ram
Windows 7 - Home.
I think a lot of the problems is that the minimum specs are a bit silly. I think if you want to play a current gen game, you probably should have a current gen video card. Pretty much all games from now on will need current gen cards so might be a good time to upgrade if you are not rocking a 9series.
