Doesn't Disney also own Marvel Studios? With their overall track record I don't see what the problem is. It's more of a question of how JJ Abrams will handle episode VII, and based off of the star trek reboot I'd say there's a decent shot he'll do well.

Only people who don't know shit about Disney as a company have complained about any of their acquisitions. I didn't care when they bought Marvel or Lucas Film because I knew that they had previously owned Miramax. The place where Tarrentino made all his over the top, violent as hell, curse words all over the place movies and where he wasn't met with any interference from Disney because Disney knows when to leave well enough alone and when they need to get involved.

I definitely appreciate the Terry brothers a hell of alot. For @YOMI DJT to come that close, is heartbreaking, but I know he'll come back to the next event with even more stuff. Yomi is legit, prob one of the best local scenes right now for MK right next to GGA.

To be truthful though, Mileena is still very much a 50/50 character. An unsafe one (like Ermac), but she's no Johnny Cage. The constant high/low mixup is still built into her offense at the core.

the mixup is important to her game of course, but i dunno that anyone being honest about it could say that a character whose overheads are 30f startup or punishable while betting meter is a 50/50 character

I just wanted to say props to @Mr Aqua for putting on an exciting, beautifully produced tournament. TCW was definitely one of the most impressive streams I have ever seen and I look forward anything this crew puts together in the future.

@SonicFox5000 has come along way since the yolo Mileena back in MK9. He has evolved right in front of our eyes to a man with patience, poise, and the character it takes to keep clutching it out match after match.
It takes a lot of talent and strength of mind to overcome the pressure of facing each Yomi player, one right after another, each time adapting to the will that was attempted to be imposed upon him. Much respect young man.

To all of you in this most impressive top 8 thank you for making our game look good and keep up the dedication you've all shown.

To my team I have waiting for you back at home three custom dartboards with Sonic Fox's face on them. It's time to get back to work.

I tried to post in the original thread but it appears to be closed now. Are you actually saying you won the bet because DJT beat Sonicfox BEFORE the finals? My understanding (obviously) was that the bet was for whoever won the tournament, which is what Fox did....and he beat DJT in grand finals to do it.

That said, this IS a 50/50 heavy game whether people like it or not but not every argument needs to center around that so let's just accept it for what it is and move on. It's getting tiresome.

Easy, easy there. Just an observation about the character -- I'm not complaining about her 50/50s, if that's how you were reading it.

She's actually one of the more balanced characters in the game.

I wasn't implying that you're complaining at all. My issue was with using Mileena as an example of why 50/50's are dominant in MKX.
