Question - Kenjutsu Is kenjutsu viable online?

So i was deciding my main variation so i practiced some combos with kenjutsu and balanced,the timing for kenjutsu seemed much more strict.If i want to play online should i stick with balanced?

Pick what you prefer, very different play styles. Balanced is 100x easier though, especially online. (IMO)

Balanced=pure zoning, kenjitsu=50/50 mix ups and rushdown, with hint of zoning

Definitely viable.

Great of 50/50s and while his db1 combos are next to impossible you can squeeze out big damage from ex db4 combos.

Bf3 is pretty good at anti-zoning as it forces respect pretty fast.

he got buffed insanely hard so that now he is one of the best characters in the game, and my god, it is glorious, my patience was rewarded

It's way to early to determine if he's one of the best characters in the game. So lets NOT start with this upplaying.

Kenjutsu is viable online it's just different from the other variation and takes more practice to master.

He is viable but you will miss out on potential damage so youll work twice as hard. Kenjutsu is much better offline with refined execution he's def Kenshi's best variation.

fair enough, it is just that i feel... SO DAMN POWERFUL NOW!!!! > i feel like an unstoppable motherfucker now with kenshi and it feels glorious. you are right it is too early to judge but from right off the bat, damn it feels good to be a balanced kenshi main

I find 111 impossible to link, but ever since PC got the patch I've been landing db1 into d1 consistently even online. It just takes some grinding, and getting used to slightly different timing online, but it's perfectly usable as long as the ping is good.

From my calculation it seems that RK into 111 is 2 frame link. However RK into d1 is 3 or even 4 frame link. Obviously the second one is easier to land and its viable online.

Offline 111 is perfectly doable, consistently. Like it was already said Kenshi in Kenjutsu is way better offline then online.
