I dunno man, Scorpion's dialogue in this game sounds his least forced yet IMO. Things like "Lin Kuei SCUM!" at least sound more heartfelt than "hurpa durp I will avonge da fimily and clenzzzz" etc.

Maybe the actual presence of Hanzo plays a part in that, who knows.

Well yeah, I did say certain bits of dialogue of his are actually good; "Lin Kuei scum" being one of them. He just makes me cringe most of the time because he always has this forced "RAR I'M ANGRY, LOOK AT HOW ANGRY I AM" kinda tone to his voice, even as Hanzo. If Hanzo would have been more toned down and humble instead of still sounding like Scorpion, he would have been high A tier.

Overall though, Kotal is by far the best. His trash talk is extraordinary

I love the consensus regarding Reptile's placement in this tier list. I personally prefer his MK4 voice for some reason, might be the nostalgia factor though.

And apparently I'm the only one who prefers Ermac's VO in MK9 over his MKX version.

Raiden's voice has been on point since MKvsDCU, definitely S-Tier material. Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Cassie and Quan Chi (especially Quan Chi) sound phenomenal as well.

But Shinnok's VO? Jesus, I can't express how much I hate. He doesn't sound menacing or 'evil-mastermind-like‘ at all, just downright annoying.

Also, we should start considering the VA in other languages. I remember watching Kitana/Kung Lao trailer in Italian and I had absolutely no idea what the hell they were saying, but some of the characters sounded sick AF.
