I said that I think Kitana was better than Kenshi prepatch, that has nothing to do with how Kenshi is now since he's obviously much better. Don't really care at all how many people would laugh at that, let em.

I don't main Kenshi but I was labbing him and playing him against my little brothers Kitana/Ermac/Cassie as a potential secondary before the patch, so I have some experience with him even though I don't plan on picking him back up. Like I said, my little brother mained Kitana for a while and we work together a lot in the lab. I may not main her but I do know a thing or two about her. And again, I never said a little help, I straight up said she needs help. Would you rather me replace the word help with buff or fix or complete or something? Its all the same to me so idc.

There's no need to try and be so insulting. I don't think weeks of someone labbing a character can be handwaved like that, he put a lot of work into her before switching to Cassie.

Do you not understand that I've been agreeing with you this entire time?

Haha yeah pretty much. People cry about characters for two reasons:

1. People who don't main that character think they are too good and ask for nerfs, saying the character is OP.

2. People who do main the character say they think they aren't good enough and ask for buffs.

I figured it would be important to keep track of the reason behind the crying in each case, so just decided to use "Sucks balls" for the second scenario.

Wow, you are just an a-hole. Way to confirm what self-entitled pre-madonna ppl make up your community. The guy has been agreeing with you for the whole conversation in which you've been putting him down. He says that Kitana needs help. Just let it go and quit being a jerk to him and his bro.

Good lord, you guys have to stop acting like victims.

Who the hell is in here blasting the Kitana community, but at at the same time giving the Kenshi community a pass? They're just as bad, if not worse if you ask me. But they're irrelevant to my point.

I will hold you guys to a higher standard though, because I personally don't remember any Kenshi main thinking he was bad until Pig let it be known and then everyone jumped on the bandwagon, whereas Y'all have pretty much been saying Kitana was shit from day 1. So, Props for that I guess...

I don't even acknowledge the Kenshi community at all, because they, for the most part, just piggy back(no pun intended) on whatever Pig has to say. But at least I respect Pig even after all the bitching he's done, because he's stuck with Kenshi and made him work as much as he could and especially for his contributions to the community with his Armory podcast and such because he's earned and deserves it.

You guys have played Kitana for a few weeks, and dropped her for "insert any 50/50 character here," yet still come back to her boards getting mad at anybody that say anything remotely positive about her. As I've stated before, I use'd to play Shinnok and Liu Kang for 2 weeks and this is just as absurd as me going into their forums and blowing up anybody that says anything that I don't agree with about them, when I barely play those characters anymore. It's absurd.

And just because somebody posts "day 2 tech" that doesn't give you the right to tag your buddies to the thread so you all can have a roast session on somebody just trying to help. Just say it's already known and move on. Grow the fuck up!

You call yourselves Kitana mains, but really you should be Tanya mains because you were quick to betray the princess in a heartbeat.
Some of which have already been done so, but hey at least you finally have an Edienian character that's "viable" :DOGE

To the "real" Kitana players, keep doing you and supporting the Princess of Edenia by making her work. I have no quarrel with you. If you feel she's "nonviable" then ask for your buffs reasonably without talking down to or being condescending to people who have a different opinion than you.

That's all I have to say. Looking forward to whatever juicy drama the week 8 salt report will bring.

How about the salt from reptile mains that led to the "reptile bottom 5" downplay thread where people decided the best way to get buffs was too exaggerate any weakness your character has? What about the poor guy who made that scorpion buff thread asking for safe teleports, more mix ups, and an ARMORED normal. He almost cried when people united to tell him to get lost

Im not a reptile player but i agree with the damage buffs. He does like 29% with 7 bars and that's unacceptable with just the damage buff and a few other things he can be high mid tier imo.

This is the end result from people going out of their way to tell the Kitana community their character is "fine". Everyone isn't built like the Shinnok community to sit around with some scrubby unfinished character and take their turd with a smile. The Kitana community is (was) filled with many highly skilled and passionate MK players, so when their character was a complete and utter dud, yes the actual worst character in the game, then they were rightfully outraged and called for buffs. I get that we've reached a point that everyone wants to say "damn will these Kitana players just shut up?!", but it isn't thar simple. Here's where things went wrong.

A) other players showing up in Kitana threads saying she's "fine" to the actual Kitana players.
B) Threads like "Scorpion needs buffs", "Raiden was nerfed too hard", and "Sub-zero is not top tier" from respectable community members is an insult to Kitana players. When they speak up they get bashed.
C) When Kitana players show up in other threads saying how trash she is they always got blasted, yet other representatives of other characters did the exact same thing for nearly two months and it was ok.
D) Characters getting buffed immensely when their representatives did more "whining" than Kitana players ever did, while telling Kitana players be happy with that measley "buff" they received.
E) Some of the best and most respected players in MK competitive history popping up in the Kitana forum with bogus ass "tech" to "prove" she is viable, arguing it, and having some TYM members agree, yet they show up to tournaments with Bojutsu, Grand Master, and Summoner.

I have absolutely no interest in ever playing Kitana, but to be honest, I'm surprised that their community isn't even more outraged and vocal from the way they've been treated. The course of events, and the backlash towards them in comparison to other communities is ridiculous. At this point I hope she gets buffed to the moon so they can say "oh she's fine" in return.
