Shark, your air throw video is not ideal, it's almost never a good idea to jump from so far and JK so late. He still can't AA the jumps that matter. He would be top tier if his air throw was like Doomsday's.

I'm talking about the very last attempt to show people what I meant, I was trying to force the trade, the first two were failed trials. I just didn't edit them out. Technically it would be marginally better since in previous situations where you trade you'd win cleanly. There's a lot of BS in this game, and Sun God is a VERY fair character. You're going to need some good Neutral game to get anywhere. His footsies are good but undeniably slow and predictable, D1, D3, and D4 are going to be your go to's when up close. He's not an In your face character despite having a command grab. He shines at mid range and can really manipulate space control. Being patient and picking your shots has yielded me the best results.Gee, I should really get around to using this badass seriously.

I originally wanted to run War God because no one was interested in it, now it's da bes and everyone's all over it.

I still think it should fixed though(Assuming it wasn't done on purpose).PC player here, can confirm that crouch-blocking sub-zero and kano (and other low-crouch characters) can inconsistently low profile 11 even point-blank. And it's still pre-6/1 hotfix, so it should still be relevant.
Agreed on getting zoned out, but getting rushed down the armored command grab says hi. People respected it before with me and now with 19%, landing this shit twice will equal a solid combo of 38%I swear I've never seen anyone get any part of that string to whiff. Today was

I would agree with you if NRS knew how to properly design anything. As of right now his EX Command grab can make contact with the opponent but during certain moves and specials it fails to go into full animation, basically just a one bar whiff that didn't really whiff. Sun god is my fav variation since kotal was introduced and since the character was built around that concept.
