I don't know if Raiden is #1 yet, but pro-tip: it's entirely possible to have bad matchups and still be the best in the game overall.

Raiden may as well be number 1. 6 frame mid that's -3 and literally block infinites some characters still (Quan Chi). Nearly safe 50-50/vortex in the corner. Still hits pretty hard despite the heavy damage nerf and not to mention the meter building is second to none.

I can see Scorp and Raiden in the top 5 for sure. Scorpion I knew the first week this guy was top lol between his speed and vortex.

Imo post patch quan won't be on the same levelwith chars like marksman erron black, hellfire cuntvorah( venomous was the biggest buffed var. in the reason patch because it was trash due to is now it's a living hell) spec opsCassie, jumpJin, raiden, sub, dragons fire, hw(some1 frame data) and wrestler jax, and sonya now that his broken bat is Nerfed.

Tempest lao is so much safer and less meter dependent now. I think it looks strong.


Quan gas meter dependent footsies, and no wake up. His zoning no longer is op.

Venomous Dvorah can still be punished by a majority of the cast, you just have to mash a special instead of d1.

Level up please.

Quan can at least counterpoke with 21~GB right? But after thinking about it, I suppose the F12 could be neutered to like -5 on block. At least then he still gets to keep the guessing game of committing to B2 instead of just fucking everybody with sub-par pokes over with F12 by itself.
