Story pack (Kombat Pack 2) has been something they've planned on all along, I'd imagine. It's going to be the following, in my opinion:

- Rain
- Smoke
- Sindel
- Fujin

If I could pick 4 characters for the DLC (non-story related) it would be:

- Cyrax
- Sektor
- Reiko
- Noob

I'd be on board for like an 8-10 character expansion pack like next year or so for like 20-30 bucks. Like a UMKX thing but I highly doubt they'll do this.

I dunno about a few years, but I would definitely pay for more characters, stages, skins et al. I could see years if there was gameplay patches and updates (which I would be willing to pay for as well just not full price like Cashcom).

Could you imagine a game a couple of years down the road nearly perfectly balanced that includes every character and stage that has ever appeared in an MK game? I think I just souled my pants

Oh yeah! Want Frost, Sindel, Bo Rai Cho and Fujin.
Most likely get Lei Mei (gag me), Bo Rai Cho, Noob and Stryker

In a fantasy world we would get additional story mode dlc featuring Cyrax or another cyborg. I'm not even a big fan, but the more diversity the better (if he plays well).

My guess:

Some combination of those.

I lean less toward Rain since he was already DLC in the last game.

Wth the numerous hints to " Purple Rain " I'm pretty sure if there was a second DLC Rain would be in it. But the Cyborgs on the other hand are kinda redundant since the character they are kinda based on already Comes as a DLC.

My love of Rain aside, yes. I firmly believe he deserved to be in the main roster. The revanants like Sindel and Smoke I can understand being left out but Rain and Tanya, characters who play a role in the story? They definitely should have been in the main roster over a few revenants who only made a cameo...

There will be another kombat pack. There is no reason not to. Bi-Han is alive in the Netherrealm, but who knows if he's still a wraith, or a human, but with wraith powers.

I think they'll save Rain for an actual MK11 Roster spot, seeing as he was dlc in MK9, it would be kinda tired to make him dlc twice in a row.
