The d2 mashing is real, I feel like d2s shouldn't have pushback.
Should come out 2 frames faster overall for better AA'ing but make them full combo punishable on block!

Idk I dont think its just me. I have heard many people complain about d2 mashing.

I know some are punishable on whiff and some on block but LBSH 98% of MKX players play online, we need more recovery frames on it. What do you guys think?

Reptile gets like a free 25% percent for a bar on blocked uppercut.
But I do agree the d2 is being abused

Ive always thought about this. The uppercut sends that character flying back.
Although i dont find a bar to punish one move too satisfying. Im going to have to test some punishes now.

They are punishable, (especially in the corner). If you don't have an advancing string push with a reversal special. Here's a few from some characters:
Kitana:
-Shadow Kick
-Throat Slice
-Fan Toss

Scorpion:
-Flameport
-Double Spear
-MB Low Minion

Sub-Zero:
-Slide
-MB Ice Ball

Quan-Chi:
-Trance
-Rune
-Portal Scoop
-Skull

Ermac:
-Soul Ball
-Teleport
-Tele Hang

Jax:
-Energy Wave
-Flying Punch
-Ground Pound

Goro:
-Punch Walk
-Stomp

There are plenty of ways to punish your opponent for mashing uppercuts. Sure they are are fast, but never safe.

they're already highs with generally shit frame data, how much worse do you want them to be
I agree they should be at least 2 frames faster overall. I want them not have that much pushback and -20 at least.

That will discourage people from mashing d2 every single time one gets close. D2s are meant as AAs and get off me moves.

I actually hate how many things are not punishable by d2. In the previous games, that was always my go-to quick punish if I blocked something and wasn't ready for retaliation. In this game, I still do that by habit quite often, and it almost always whiffs after whatever I block. Even certain specials that I honestly feel should be punishable by an uppercut to create distance and stop pressure... nope, whiff.

Drives me absolutely crazy.

I can't vouch for the others but none of those specials with Scorpion will reversal punish. Uppercuts are around -16 on block, all of those specials have at least 20 frames of startup.

In the corner they do. Also MB versions do as well.
