It's literally the meaning of his life. Who gives a flying fuck if you are a good player you are a good player. Good players can learn any game and do well. Apparently honeybee is godlike at any game props to him. There are a LOT of injustice players that are not good at this game right now. I'm an MK9 players and I don't think i'm good at it who cares.

In all seriousness, it's not a huge deal. But if people are going to talk smack, they shouldn't be surprised to see it coming back in good fun. Hopefully people will realize that we're one community now, and stop trying to separate the 'MK legends' from the guys who have done very well in newer games and also earned their rightful places as top players.

Congrats @HoneyBee. Venomous dvorah has been on my list for a training mode session and after seeing your play I'll definitely make some time for her this week.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to watch live, looking forward to catching up when I finish work :)

Speaking locally this is the most interested I have ever seen Capcom/Anime players in MK. A lot of them have their gripes but a lot of them really enjoy competing and personally I think that is a huge positive for the game and the scene.

Yeah, but Fourwude was an MK player too, he played mk9 and he might have even played Mkdc, lol.

Was super fun to watch. One of the great things about this game is that variations make mirrors actually interesting to watch and fun to play. Most fun set I've ever had in this game yet was a mirror match.

I don't think people will look back on this and say any of the competitors were bad. I think they'll look back and say "remember when D'Vorah could lock you into a block string for 40 seconds?"

For the most part though, I don't think there's going to be any nerf demands. At least I hope not. It didn't seem like exploitation of BS won this tournament.

Favorite part of the usually ignorable chat garbage.. "REO looks like he's aged like 5 years." Who hasn't aged almost 5 years since MK9 started in 2011?

Ehh I suppose I'm just meaning the people who come to this thread read it specifically to comment and blow someone up and say nothing else lol its petty but nah I wasn't trying to blow him up it truly didn't look like he was doing much with his character in pools but getting second place proves me wrong clearly. Glad he made it as far as he did.

On the plus side the commentators did apologize for being so biased after the match was over but it was really bad experience nonetheless I thought biohazard did well on commentary even when his brother was up to play he wasn't as biased as the other dude that was on the mic. Commentators just gotta think to themselves when there commentating if someone was listening to us speak without any video would they have a good idea of how the match is playing out by how were commentating if yes then your doing a great job if not then you suck ass and need to stand up and leave.
