Does Injustice HAVE to die?

Injustice is kind of like Marvel, in a way. The characters have a lot of really powerful options that seem broken on the outside but once you learn everything 100% the game is actually pretty fair and even. But that's really just not what a lot of people are going to do for a new IP for characters they may or may not think are lame, before tossing the game aside.

Like it kills me at how Evo 2014 people where booing the game at first then cheering as more and more cool stuff went on. It's really sad when you think about it.

I don't see how its sad, but I feel you on the first part except for literally learning the game 100%. I don't think anyone has 100% learned everything about the game yet.

Yeah 100% is more of like a hyperbole figure of speech kind of thing.

And it's sad because it just shows how no one wants to give the game a chance even though it's a great game.

I miss Injustice. I made all of my friends in the community in that game, not MK9 which i had played since release.

Maybe the community will like the sequel better.

You're right about the hype, but the problem is that these characters are mid to low tier, that's why it's hyped. There's room for error and out playing. The problem here is that if you have another Injustice tournament what you will see will be AM, BG, MMH all day everyday. And then you'll see that one guy playing as Ares against AM, BG, MMH

Yeah but the window has closed for others to give it a chance. Its best to just let the game die at this point imo, so that's what I'm going with. However I didn't get to play it much due to other obligations during those 2 years so I don't have a heavy attachment, but I can understand and respect those who still want to fight for it.

I believe you because I have as well. Who would think Ares could beat the Water Boy? Much less the other two characters already mentioned. So, if I steal a win from someone using those characters, they ARE doing something wrong.

I dislike Injustice because it's pretty boring, flat out.

I'm entering at combo breaker because why not? But I think it will be hard to juggle two NRS games, one with and one without a block button. :/

I love injustice still. I think mkx is a more solid game and I find it really fun and exciting, but injustice fills a special place in my heart. NrS' first back to block game so yes, there were all kinds if dumb hit boxes and cross up forward 3s.. But the players who gave up after seeing that stuff and saying it's broken are the players who never leveled up to the max potential. I see high level injustice play as those who recognize those weird crossup and interactable set ups and know how to block or avoid it, where any other player would get opened up for free. It's hype when you see someone block flash's set ups in the corner.
Thanks for the video post, I love @RM Cossner and that match was so hype. Considering the fact that cossner normally gets so frustrated by my lobo being a 7-3, he really played super strong that set.. That's what injustice should look like

The biggest problem for Injustice was the community. They wanted a different game to play like the game they wanted it be, but wasn't. Twas ridiculous & embarrassing.

Never did I hear the Marvel community (from back MVC1) cry about it not playing exactly like Street Fighter tho both Marvel & Injustice were obviously similar.

yes, it has to die .... MKX is a superior game and majority of IGAU fans are MK fans in first place or came from a MK background , and I believe they will focus all attention, time spend and training on MKX and not IGAU anymore .... at least regarding the competitive scene aspect

i am hl and i stoped injustice because it's te most imbalanced fighting game that ive played. my doomsday is ok but when fight batgirl or martian u become useless and there is no fun because there are only MMH and BG players.

I don't worry about this game, MKX is here so maybe will try injustice 2

The biggest downfall for Injustice is that it is not MK and thus with a new MK game on the horizon, most people seemed to rather wait it out till MKX drops and not bother.

I really liked the game, but it's hard to keep grinding a game when most people don't care and you're kind of just playing.


I would enter it at a major like I entered MK9 at UFGT last year alongside Injustice. Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter are still very fun.
