What's new

app allows for custom combos

I know there a a ton of apps out there, basically just telling us moves we already know or can just hit pause and see. But I found an app that allows you to input your own custom combo strings that show up in the app like regular moves. Plus it has a note section to copy/paste strategies and such. It does cost 99 but the developer responded quickly to my concerns of too short of space for combo strings and has increased it more than double . Now can input complex strings. Just fyi. It's mortal Kombat x guide by Andrew Stanton.

Hey john_1776, thanks for the post, this is the creator here.

My iOS one was submitted 2 weeks to the date and is hopefully going to be through shortly. It's unbelievable how long stuff can take to get through review on Apple's end.

I'm for sure open to more feedback/suggestions. Some of the stuff I've already implemented is due to user feedback.

You still haven't made a thread for it. :(

I took a screenshot of it recently & recommended it on twitter: https://twitter.com/Tim_Static/status/592731442834190339

To each their own. If you want to scribble down stuff, go for it. If you have bad handwriting & hate writing like I do, this app rocks. And it's cheap.

Why not just use the tag system in the game? or muscle memory training? The latter works just fine and you don't need anything
For me it's helpful to have a glance at the longer combos that I've figured out, after not using them for a while. Like on characters I don't use as much. When I go back to them, I look at my app for a quick recap of the combos, and then my memory is like "oh yeah, that's right!" and I get back into it much quicker.

Idk maybe I just have good muscle memory. I only labbed the story mode characters to learn their BnBs and I still have them.

Yeah, I'm waiting for my iOS one to go through. I submitted it I believe 3 Mondays ago (more than 2 weeks ago which I initially said) and it still has not gone through. It's really grinding my gears that it still hasn't gone through the review process. Really irking me...
