Thank you!!!! Btw I hate that people are acting as if block breaking and just frame d2s are actual options for a character as meter dependent as Takeda.. Kano can just zone us out. Build some meter. Armor through "safe" kunai pressure, wake up with armor, breaker any combo attempt we string together, spam b1, MAYBE get d2ed, shake it off, rinse and repeat. As kanos get better at this mu they'll always have meter and we never will. If we can't create our own counter pressure to at least get him to respect us, what can we do once we actually get in on him or he on us?
If we do get past his zoning we end up stuck in a b1 block infinite where we have two choices: Throw out a d2 that's -11 on block or block break to get him off us wasting two bars of precious, hard to build, meter. Let's not forget that the stamina meter has something like a 4 sec delay until it starts building again so think of the anti back dash tech people will use after we break? (
@Tom Brady correct me if I'm wrong I only skimmed that part in your guide.)
The point is, Takeda mains can see alot of shit eventually happening in this match up-- and many others-- that are directly linked to him having the slowest pokes in the game. Alot of people probably haven't even considered how to exploit it yet but it WILL happen.. We're in there trying to come up with tech that helps us keep people out but six months from now when people are masters at run cancels, how useful will it be in the end?
@Zyphox knows that eventually they will and he's just trying to expose Takeda's slow ass pokes for what they are. Bullshit. Take me to downplaying court or whatever but most people who play this character can agree I'm not completely off base.
I could kiss you for pointing this out because my eyes rolled in the back of my head in laughter when I read
@Zyphox blow this up. People were making me look stupid day three by armoring through b21 kunai mixups and I'm over here like, "Safe WHAT!?"
The safest thing to do where Takeda is concerned is to just pick up Kung Jin!
